I love listening to catfish wining and crying when you pull them in the boat. They are neat creatures!

Ever since I heard about the strawberry chicken thing last, I would say 70-80 percent of my catches have come on that. I hooked a 22 inch channel cat the other night and had cut up sunfish on the other pole. Either he didn't see it or he wanted the chicken more!!!! Even had a bluegill hammer it.

Dieter i was testing a barometer fishing app yesterday and went to a smaller river on the edge of town the I've fished a lot as a kid. Saw some pan fish on camera, was getting a lot of nibbles. I recast in a spot deciding to leave after that and accidentally hooked into what happened to be a massive carp on the edge of the river. Got about 10 feet from reeling him in and he got off the hook. I'd never seen a carp in person let alone hooked one. I couldn't believe the size when he got to the surface. Needless to say, im going back there soon to finish the job. The more into evening hours the more I could here big fish jumping. I didn't think it held big fish.

Just found your videos! My husband and I are enjoying them while we make dinner 😊 We came here because we couldn’t catch any white perch and we learned a lot of what we were doing wrong this weekend. I look forward to seeing more!

We are catching them shallow here in Georgia also. 10 to 15ft. Getting hot fast here though. It’s going to get tough here soon.

In Kansas you can only use 2 rods, or 3 if you buy the three rod permit. I can't imagine being able to use that many rods!

What if you live on a lake or river then how many?

An ideal day to fish is definitely a rainy day. I fished lake Keowee this past weekend and the channel cats are starting to come in shallow. Caught them in 5-8 ft they are fat and full of eggs. I hope to make it back up to Wylie in a couple of weeks. Thanks for the video. Keep them coming.

Another great day of fishing 🎣 Keep em coming, going in for a discectomy and spinal fusion on Thursday so my year is over before it began. I need you and Dave to keep my withdrawal shakes to a minimum.

What are some of the other things that I should download to locate fish from the bank. I don’t own a boat and I’m not interested in buying a boat I can’t swim. I’m an avid fisherman and have had tremendous success with your tips and advice and videos.

If I have to pick between bigger or smaller bait, most of the time I go smaller, mainly because some of my biggest fish have come on small baits

Why does it seem like the fish are out extremely deep here in Oklahoma City Oklahoma the bite is very slow from the bank. I have been using a balloon to get my baits out really deep.

I've seen catfish caught with big bait and it was a smaller catfish who tried to eat it and the bait was still hanging out of its mouth

I can’t trust fishing pole holders for shore/dock fishing do you know any that are good?
@Flathead-fb5tk6 ай бұрын
Not pulling your chain at all here, I bought some that were called Coolnice rod holders from Amazon. They were like 20 bucks for 2. Ive caught several catfish from 20 all the way to 58 pounds on them. I bought three sets and I've used them for over 3 years now and they've done great

Would some of my more experienced big catfish anglers tell what what you think this fish weighed? kzbin.infoNCEQZOhB7RA?si=GKHY8FlxpLpqfmNN my scales said 40 but i don’t know how accurate they are after testing them on some weights at home. I should have gotten a length on him but I forgot to in the excitement (new pb by a long shot)

Because, some of us practice " Catch & Release" Let the fish live to fight another day. If everyone fished like you, there wouldn't be any fish to catch.
@samtheaqueductman74106 ай бұрын
To be fair, everyone has their own personal preference. I personally would not release a fish unless I absolutely had to or if it's too much to eat. But fishing is something that everyone should enjoy whether they are keeping em or throwing em back. As a community, fisherman shouldn't have to judge one another on their preferences.
