Use 100g of egg whites to replace 2 whole eggs (50g each) and you'll save 95 calories.. divided by 8 and you save 12 calories each.. 30 calories each :) protein tortillas!
@Spacejockey426 Жыл бұрын
Respectfully disagree - the whole egg is always better. This whole egg white thing is ridiculous . . . and, there is more protein in the yolk (by weight) than the white. Using the whites only to save 12 calories per piece? Absurd when you think about it, is it not?
@LG-lr1up Жыл бұрын
@@Spacejockey426 Totally agree, was going to write the same! 🙂 We thought/ were taught that the egg yolks should not be eaten often, but it turns out it's the opposite. There are lots of benefits in the whole eggs.
@Spacejockey426 Жыл бұрын
@@LG-lr1up I grew up in the 70's, just before the egg white thing went down. Unfortunately, a lot of people bought into it - and whenever I see egg white products on grocery shelves, I shake my head, ruefully. But then again also, perhaps more then a fair share of people actually think the egg yolk is what develops into the baby chick(en). . . .
@lily5952 Жыл бұрын
The yolk is where most of the nutrition of the egg is housed. I wouldn't discard it :) but I can understand that the yolk might make things taste "eggy" to some people too.

I tried another similar recipe on KZbin....you add more seasoning, but 2 eggs and I used cheese cloth to drain the water, but they split in the middle - all six of them did. Any suggestions on how to avoid that?

Given the egg and other ingredients, it makes sense to me - you could use egg whites to reduce the calories even further, if you’d prefer.

@Lacey thanks for the great idea :D I had the same liver spot on my neck but you can remove it without pain by urself :). Just take a thin line and cut the bloodflow of the spot. After a few days it will just fall of because of that haha :D. It doesnt hurt and it felt of while I was doing sport. I was wondering if it is that simple but my grandmother had done it too with 80 years and as a young male I have to be fearless and try it. Enjoy that trick and you will look a little better than you already do :D
