OK, this is kinda niche, but something would absolutely love to see you play is a game called "Automation: The Car Company Tycoon Game." It's basically a game where you can design your own cars from scratch, as though you were a car manufacturer. The crazy thing is, however, is that once you've finished designing cars, you can _export them into BeamNG and drive them around in that game!_ Honestly, I think it would be hilarious to see someone who has absolutely no idea how cars work, nonetheless how to drive, attempt to build a functional production vehicle (either on his own or by following chat's advice), and then boot up BeamNG just to see how terrible the car he made actually is.

For anyone wondering, I've been in two very violent car accidents and this game does a really good job physics-wise at depicting those crashes from a first person angle. If you want to try and imagine a violent car wreck, just imagine seeing all that thrashing and crashing in front of you but being trapped in a catatonic state, it feels like everything you experienced before that collision is a far off memory so inaccessible that it might as well not have happened, and there is nothing but "now", there are no thoughts, no comprehension, no panic, just "now" and nothing else and it is shocking. It doesn't terrify you until the car stops. This game legit gives me PTSD flashbacks and I love it, hate it too, can't play too much xP

Hey RT, part of the reason those supercars didn't like to handle for you was that the Electronic Stability Control was in the wrong mode, if you click that little ESC button with the blue light above it on the UI you can cycle through the ESC modes to find one that works for you (or turn it off, if you're feeling brave). And when your truck was sliding backwards off the mountain, if you click that little 2HI button, you could have put it into 4HI or 4LO and (maybe) drove back up that hill to take another fling towards the objective. I have over 300 hours in the game, and have been playing it for like... ever, so if you have any questions I can probably (maybe) answer them
@umad426 ай бұрын
Oh, and another tip: The softbody physics engine makes hitting things while trying to drive fast a death sentence, you basically always mess up your suspension and it throws off the handling dynamics of your vehicle in weird and unpredictable ways. So don't let understeer/oversteer take you into the wall at speed, you can slow down to take a corner

Love how the game knew to include the correct AI modes, like "literally ignore all rules that exist" and "Actively try to crash into the player"

This game is a classic, used to see a lot of it in KZbin’s golden age of let’s plays. I’ve been wanting to play it on Steam for a long time, now that I own a Steam Deck.

It's been a long time since I watched a BeamNG video, I actually feel nostalgic. I remember watching, I think it was JackSepticEye, way back in the day, just having a blast, destroying cars, all that. I mean, the whole appeal of the game is basically "What are the horrible ways can you destroy this vehicle?" and "Thankfully, this is a game, so go crazy." But it looks like the game has improved and changed a lot since what, 2014-15?? Time really does fly... Thank you, RT, for always making your viewers, both here and on Twitch, smile. You deserve recognition for that alone! Forever and always, our Drift King!
