I'd of tigged a 10 mm bolt to that tap then waited for it to cool & just wound it out - those exhaust valves, just link the 2 together with a power & ground wire & when the computer activates the original valve they should both do the same thing in theory & finally I'm disappointed you let the comment trolls dictate how you run your shift pattern, what business is it of any else's how you set your own builds up if it works for you, personally I'd tell em to go spin!

Looks GREAT don't stress about your exhaust pairings, this is from Wikipedia! For an inline-four engine with a typical firing order of 1-3-4-2, pairing cylinders 1 & 4 and cylinders 2 & 3 is considered "non-sequential", since the paired cylinders do not follow each other in the firing order. This non-sequential arrangement results in an even spacing of 360 degrees between the firing interval in each cylinder pair. A sequential pairing would result in uneven spacings, such as 180 degrees and 540 degrees for pairings of cylinders 1 & 2 and 3 & 4. This sequential pairing is used by many motorcycle engines.

You, sir, are able to do 1,000 times more than I could ever do with 1/4 of the space. I salute you.

Man, why did you route two exhaust pipes into another small pipe? That is way too much exhaust restriction. You should have gone to the same size pipe as the mufflers at that point. And, you should have ditched the exhaust valves. We always disabled them and tuned the bike to run better without them.

Generally with 4 cylinder dual exhaust you would run 1 and 4 together, and 2 and 3 together. That way you get exhaust pulses that are evenly spaced, creating better flow.

What made you change the music? I like this music much better than the old stuff. I would have mentioned it a few videos ago but I kept forgetting until now.

Maybe some nylon washers to take some of the wiggle out the moving parts of the shift linkage. It should also keep them from binding up.

You should be proud of this build, there's so many cool touches on this beast. I'm always amazed what you do from a small shed...

You don't need those exhaust valves. In fact, with a remap of the ECU it will even run better without. And it will just run just fine without them, without the remap. Just leave the actuator connected to the wiring but not to the valve. And it will be fine.

Hey first from Oz, just wanted to say your an awesome builder to watch and to follow along with similar builds. Although i have nowhere near the skills or tools you have we've still managed to get a fair few built...

It’s cool to see the little lessons learned on the 1100 build play out on this project.

This buggy is looking sick! I love the exhaust. Great job with the fabrication. It's very unique how the real drive will articulate. Can't wait to see it moving and flexing!
