Carson: These women weren't initially boy crazy pre-Waterfalls era. They changed perceptions of what women should and could be, especially with their fashion; which could be seen in Hat 2 Da Back. They were sexual; which is also what society didn't want, especially as women. They promoted safe sex, especially in their fashion too. So they've been changing gender norms, and addressing social topics since the beginning in 1992, not starting with Waterfalls in 1995.

Ha! He was probably doing the waterfalls bounce they did in the music video. He could be the 4th TLC member!

Ashlee Michaels The "Waterfalls" bounce is the bankhead bounce love.

anjelheaven not exactly, but they are very similar. T-Boz said they came up with that move on the set of the music video so its probably their own spin on the bankhead bounce.

Ashlee Michaels Sweetie, it's the bankhead bounce! Lol Yes, I remember her saying that on their BET Testimony but it's not a dance they "created." They simply slowed down the bankhead bounce to the tempo of "Waterfalls".

The bankhead bounce was a dance that originated in Atlanta. TLC brought it to mainstream in the video for Waterfalls, and other artists like Michael Jackson saw it and copied it into different live routines. If you don't believe me read this - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bankhead_Bounce

Wait just one damn minute Carson, TLC was never a "boy-crazy party sort of group"! They were tackling "larger issues" with their music even on their debut. Did he not hear "What About Your Friends" or "His Story" or see the statements about safe sex they were making with their clothing? Tf?
