Leffen would've bopped his peach, he plays the peach match up basically completely by the book and makes it extremely hard for peach to get him, due to him camping. Armada said that he played against peach better than mango. Plus armada's fox is new and has taken him extremely far. He got second and blew through the bracket until he met a new stronger leffen that he expected to breeze through as well probably. Don't question a top players decision to pick up a character. It was his choice so quit with this 20XX scrub shit lol.

Its a temporary shift where players need to adapt to one another again. Armada has had a winning streak over the past few months against leffen with fox dittos and leffen seems to have adapted so now Armada needs to adapt again.

***** What? Did you just forgot about DrommeLan 4.5? Im not Yelling? Paragon almost comeback? Beauty 10? All places where Armada destroyed leffen in the ditto or at least beat him. Turnabout you're pretty much completely wrong in that statement because armada is still on a winning record against leffen with fox and has been destroying the competition, leffen was seriously prepared this time and stepped his game up from the last time I saw him play against armada. His punishes were cleaner, he would make a hit count for a whole lot more. Plus Armada made the switch to fox BECAUSE he was losing to leffen constantly as peach because leffen had figured the match up out extremely well around the time when he had started to get noticeably good (After Apex 2014 or summer 2014 etc.)

***** Also Armada himself said in the Beast 5 interview that Leffen has his number in the Peach v Fox match up very strongly, and it isn't a couple it was rather consistent. He has a winning record yes because armada has played him since leffen wasn't considered top level but he was second in sweden for a while so they both got time to play with each other for the most part and leffen was still far from armada's skill at the time because of the whole gap between god and non god. You can see how much he has progressed.

2 Smashers duking it out like crazy. Leffen shows how aggressive and dominant he is at the same time Armada showing that he too can stand his ground and have just as the same level of unrelenting aggression as his adversary. Both were calculative, strategic and smart, almost to the point where it looked like it was stupidity taking over them. In the latter these highly skilled people could smile as they fight, testing and feeling each others limits. What we (I) just witnessed was raw power. I may be just overhyping but man did WF and GF send shivers down my spine. Armada has to hit the books and Leffen just needs to keep training hard. I love the top five but I couldn't help but cheer on for Leffen because I really liked how he smiled when he got either outplayed or styled on, as if he just respected and admired Armada's play and then showing that he too can pull crazy stuff. I think that was the intense type of game he's been wanting to play all this time, regardless of the winner though, I believe this set and WF will be legendary

Klas Haggren Still, I believe the five Gods will always have there title due to how long they've been at the top, similar to how Ken is still called "the King of Smash" despite no longer being the best. No one started calling Azen, PC or KDJ the new Kings of Smash when they beat Ken in the MLG tournaments. Leffen's position at the top is still rather new but if he stays consistent, he should get his own title.

Kevin Y There are gaps inbetween the Fox Illusion. That's why you'll sometimes see a huge disjoint when you get hit out of it.

Kevin Y Here is how he grabbed him: The hitbox from the Fox illusion comes right behind Fox and comes out a little bit after he moves forward. Not to mention it does not go the full length of the Fox illusion. Leffen was in an exact spot to where he wouldn't get hit. Had he been a little bit more back/to the left, he might have gotten hit and not been able to grab Armada. If you wanna see how the hitbox looks like, you can just search Fox hitboxes in Melee on KZbin.

Reaching Clarity Mew2King's flight to Florida got cancelled and redirected to Houston, but if Mew2King rescheduled, he would not have made it in time for doubles so he just didn't go. Mew2King probably would have entered into Singles but I guess he wanted the guaranteed pot bonus (since Mew2King wins doubles 95% of the time) so he just didn't go.

***** Smash 4 changes too much for a competitive scene to thrive. it's not just the patches and character updates, but the rules people are making. 2 stocks, or 3? Custums banned or unbanned? 6 or 8 minutes? is this stage banned or unbanned? I mean, it's fun to play with friends and all, but the scene is pretty annoying now that I think about it, Also we need to realize that Sakurai doesn't give a shit about smash competitive scenes so that's probably why he's trying to keep the game from being at the level Melee is at.
