As some who's half Italian and half Chickasaw (yes ik, weird mix, but that's besides the point), I can tell you that I get confused for so many races, and that makes things like ICE a big ass problem. Canadian Border Patrol Officer thought I had a fake passport because "the girl in the photo is white and you're Asian", luckily I had my birth certificate on me and he didn't ask much more from then on. But that was a terrifying experience for me in 7th grade, after 32 hours on a bus, to be hauling up my French class's trip to Quebec City cause some guy thought I had a fake passport. And other then people questioning why I put other on "what ethnicity are you?" questions when I look white, and people doubting that I'm actually who I say I am cause, and this was truly said to me, "you can't be white-passing if you're mixed", I haven't much other trouble than a stern look at TSA. But these videos man, they make those truly terrifying experiences look like a fuckin joke. I was to scared to go to the store with family members that weren't my immediate family because we live in the south. I locked myself in my room on family vacations to the beach. I'd heard the stories, I lived in a vastly diverse city. I didn't wanna be the next person. My mom made me memorize the contact information of the hospital I was born at maternity ward, which I thought was standard information until someone told me that was weird. ICE is so fucking terrifying, and kids should not be taught to use it as a weapon.
