Pigeon pose - what is a modification if I can not bring my foot to my knee?

You'll cross one ankle on top of the other. Start with both feet on the floor. Keep your right foot (for example) where it is, and bring the left ankle to cross the right ankle. Then you can bend forward and still feel the stretch in the hip. (note: the key is keeping the right foot where it is and not moving it in towards the left.) Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.
