We approach many crossroads. Strahd teaches Morgnatha her final lesson, Fiona begins to learn being a burgomaster is not what she hoped, and my players spend ONE AND A HALF HOURS on a simple wolf encounter! Yes! Ninety minutes on an encounter I rolled and maybe possibly regretted.

My party just got the invitation to Strahd's dinner, I don't know how they will react because that's where I ended session During this same session they had their first encounter with Strahd, they went to yester hill and decided to wait around a while and split the party, the changeling cleric was 200 feet away from the rest of the party when Strahd made his appearance. Combat lasted one round before Strahd expressed his disappointment in both his tactics and abilities and allowed his playthings to retreat, (my party is level 5, so they did not expect Strahd to be up in their face so soon)
