Thank you for the video, short and clear. I have both XC60 and XC90, Is it necessary to change the filter on this occasion? Can I open the sump to check the contents and clean the filter inside? Nobody does this, changing the oil alone does something but I think a little more should be done. In this way, you can detect many things that we will not see in other ways. What do you think?

There's no easy access filter on these transmissions from what i've heard - it might be something like a filter but it's inside the gearbox.. Again, that's just what i've heard.

Use a cheap laser thermometer gun to have a rough idea. Target a slightly lower temp than 50c since housing will be absorbing some of the heat.

The kit includes 12L and is enough to flush a few times and then fill the rest to the correct level 😁
