I'm really appreciating this reading of the Silmarillion, I've always wanted to read it but I have ADHD and reading is pretty hard for me, and I don't have much free time to sit down and read a book. So I listen to these chapters while I work, two birds with one stone. Thanks for this!

I know how you feel, I also have trouble reading and sometimes I’ll be going along and just lose where I am or read the same line 3 times lol I have the book also. So I listen to this and read along, it’s so helpful.

So you mean to tell me Amazon owns the film rights to these amazing stories and yet they shat out that crap? Great videos, I’m a 43 year old Black man, with a wife and kids. I had vaguely heard of LOTR before the movies, but I fell in love with the stories afterwards. The detail is unbelievable. Tolkien was himself a Vala to have weaved such tales.

I'm a 38 yr old black man also w/ family. Read this book to pieces when I was a teen and always come back to it at least once a year just for comfort. I'd love to see the Sil Mil on the screen but very very few and possibly no film maker alive today is worthy of it. Sorry not sorry

This is such an amazing book, and an amazing universe… It is the greatest book , is even better in the Bible, in my heart. When I go to heaven, I will gift to God, a hardcover copy of it, and he’ll let me in…. He gets us.
