Characters We'd Like to See in Multiversus

I just noticed an error in the video where it says my 1st pick is my second pick, I'd go back and fix it but it took over 6 hours to compress this video.
At some point, you knew I'd have to make a discussion video on the characters we'd like to see get in Multiversus. This video will not be covering datamines and leaks (with the exception of one character for an example). Thanks to Alex S. Warrior, Anthony M. My personal picks would be: Ed Edd n Eddy as a Trio character The Animaniacs as a trio character The Xiaolin Monks from Xiaolin Showdown (as Seperate characters) Chase Young, Also From Xiaolin Showdown Ben 10 (Not Reboot) Blue Beatle Static Shock The Powerpuff Girls Definitely Daffy Duck Generator Rex. HM: The other Crystal Gems, Ice King, Dexter from Dexter's Lab, Monkey, also from Dexter's Lab, Jack Spicer from Xiaolin Showdown, The Teen Titans as seperate characters, Slade/Deathstroke, the KND, But especially Numbuh 1. side note: When you did the "Hoo Ha Hoo" in the Johnny Bravo segment, my Mind literally went to Ultimoose from Yin Yang Yo for some reason.

Moose (Cartoon fighter with the help of Rocky), 8: Paul Atreides (Sword fighter with a range resistant force feild, + the Sandworm), 7: Pibby (Fighting with pure fear and having the corruption start leaking into the stage), 6: The Monarch (He could be commanding his minions and teammates with buffs, ) 5: Black Dynamite (Shaggy but with a gun, cartoon or movie design works), 4: Jimmy Fallon/ Jimmy Kimmel/ Stephen Colbert/ Space Ghost/ basically any late night tv host (they could fight like they are giving their monologue, grab being an interview with an opponent, and you get to beat up a late night tv host), 3: Miraculous Ladybug (I could see her luck charm could have a random pool of items that can help her, also a whip like attacks with her yoyo), 2: Popeye (a brawler that once he gets his spinich he deals extreme damage), 1: Tom (Anime grabbag, or use some of the weapons and ingenuity from the shorts, thou it would be a bit confusing with Tom and Jerry). 0: Uncle Ruckus (The character that I know will not be in the game, but if he is put in the game I called it first.)

My top pick is Maxwell from Scribblenauts. With his notebook that can create and modify anything, Maxwell has unlimited potential! I imagine him as a support character. When hitting an opponent he could write out adjectives one letter at a time, applying a debuff when the word is complete. He would also have some way of applying helpful adjectives to himself and his ally. His recovery could use the flying polka-dotted bathtub from Super Scribblenauts. He could also spawn weapons and items for his team. My secondary choice is Ed. He could be a heavy hitter with lots of super armor: too dumb to die!

No 1 I’m hoping for. Trinity from The Matrix Highly acrobatic martial arts, hacking reality, AND gunkata… heck yes!! Another big one, Perzival from Ready Player One. Take the main protag of a MOVIE all about crossovers, and put him into a crossover. Not to mention ALL of the moveset potential!! Also, on the DC front, we need some out & out VILLAINS in this game, and I can think of one no better for this, than Bane. While joker is the more obvious choice, I’d like one big, chunky, bowser-like villain in this thing, and he would be AMAZING for this.

Really interesting characters that should be added to MultiVersus. I was really not expecting Omi from Xiaolin Showdown to be talked about, but I love it! I love that show so much! Now Omi is one of my most wanted characters! Edit: Was also not expecting you guys to talk about Johnny Bravo's Mess O' Blues and LSuperSonicQ. Awesome!

The Warner Siblings, Pinky And Brian, Dick Daderly And Muttely, Billy And Many, Grim, Hector And Boris, Dr. Ghastly, General Scar, Earthworm Jim, Princess What's-Her-Name, Pyscrow, Unkitty, Puppicorn, and even Beetlejuice i don't mind.

A few ideas of my own: Darla Dimple and Max (Cats Don't Dance): Have Max be the main player-controlled character with hard-hitting punches and whatnot while Darla rides on his shoulder and gets in some specials. It's a fun concept. Plus, we need some straight-up villains in this roster. Buster/Babs Bunny (no relation) (Tiny Toons Adventures): I can't decide if they'd work as alts of each other (in which case, they'd probably be Toon Link-esque characters to Bugs), or if they'd be a duo team like Ice Climbers. Either way, it'd be fun. Garrett (Quest For Camelot): My oddball, likely-never-gonna-happen pick, but those kinds of picks make roster speculation fun. He attack with his staff and would have great counters. Plus, he could have his falcon partner, Aiden, to perform some specials (besides, since Garrett is blind, he needs Aiden to direct him, so maybe have Aiden make some chirps and squaks whenever Garrett attacks for consistency).

10 characters I think would be a neat inclusion in no particular order, and a brief playstyle description: 1. Harry Potter (mostly a precise long range fighter with various spells that perform a lot of effects; for this game, some characters like Bugs have normals that are just mundane specials, and that's the sort of perspective I want for Harry, like at most he uses Sectumsempra or a close range blast for melee attacks) 2. Gumball Watterson (he's a coward, not a fighter, so his normals are pathetically weak; however, his down special pulls out a phone to call either his family, Penny, or a handful of classmates to help him out for his neutral, side and up specials) 3. Rob (a support-based fighter, but under the pretense that he's "manipulating" his teammate to fight for him, in addition to a handful of ways to hinder the enemy) 4. Lex Luthor (fights in his warsuit and has the kind of firepower that very easily overwhelms slower fighters; in essence, he's the anti-tank character, which works since Superman is the Tank class) 5. Neo (ridiculously nimble and near-impossible to pin down; his focus on martial arts makes him purely a close-range fighter, but his abilities as "The One" makes it very easy for him to close the gap) 6. Courage the Cowardly Dog (his animations look like he's just flailing about in a panic...because he is, but it's all in a surprisingly effective effort to protect his allies) 7. Jason Voorhees (there's a difference between slow and mobile; Jason is slow, but very mobile, and his high-power slashes and grapples become a lot scarier when he's consistently transporting up to you) 8. Dick Dastardly (has a needlessly large assortment of gadgets that could win him the match, but do you really need to make use of everything he has to offer? the answer is of course yes, Dick Dastardly always stops to cheat) 9. DIO (loves toying with his enemies, poking and prodding at them with projectiles and other long-range attacks, before going for the kill with a brutal attack up close) 10. Pibby (starts off as a simple fighter and is fairly weak, but by learning throughout the fight, her moves start to change and become much more useful)

I had to do research on what WB even owns and I was shocked by how many big franchises they have to pick from. This could be a really interesting roster. Some characters I'd like to see: - Ben 10 (Like SMP, I would also prefer the original version. But I wouldn't mind it being Alien Force or something just for the sake of having more alien variety beyond the original 10. I think the only hard part about doing Ben would be having to create and animate a ton of extra models for all of the aliens) - Robin from Teen Titans (NOT Go version, please. Honestly, I think any of the titans would be great or even Slade. ) - Omi from Xiaolin Showdown (His utter butchering of the english language would make for some hilarious banter) - Static Shock - Austin Powers (Would have to be toned down, obviously. But he would be an amazing WTF character) - Yogi Bear (A pretty iconic Hanna-Barbera pick after Scooby Doo imo) - Jason from Friday the 13th (Again, would have to be toned down heavily. But insanely iconic) - Osmosis Jones (My personal deep cut pick, would be genuinely surprised if they remembered him)

I believe a lot of my picks have probably been leaked or just characters I would expect in the game but would still have fun with like Cyborg, Joker, Daffy, etc. The two characters I actually want that I don’t think are guaranteed are Red Hood and Primal’s Spear and Fang. Primal’s quite possibly my favourite cartoon out there so I think that speaks for itself and Red Hood I just think would be neat even if I wouldn’t consider him the best character in the DC Universe but I think there’s something about him that stands out to me.

As warner properties goes, I think a harry potter character could go well, maybe the justice friends or Dial M for monkey would go cool. Any Classic hanna barera character would go great as well (if warner still holds some of their rights) Even the devil from chicken and the cow would work fine. And my very favorite, courage, he could actaully not even fight, just summon every monster of every episode and courage just escapes. And even bring back some duck dogers references as part of the duffy duck moveset. Anyways... great video, good idea storm.

I don't plan on playing Multiversus yet as im a filthy Switch peasant, but if these characters were to get in, i probably would change my tune. It's no secret that i was raised on CN, so a large majority here are gonna be Cartoons or CN related. (thruth be told i wish the game was CN/Animation exclusive, don't care for live action stuff) The EDS: Ed Edd n Eddy is my favorite show of all time. As in, literally over any other show out there, nothing comes close. It's the longest running Cartoon Cartoon show and one of the longest running CN originals lasting a decade, with a great finale after 5 solid seasons. I would be okay if we only got one of them, but i think the trio is unique enough and the shows is so iconic that you need to have them all, and i would prefer if they played as individuals separate rather than an Ice Cilmber or PT scenario, as they shown that they can each play different. Ed can use brute strenght and play as this clumsy giant who accidentally beats people with his inmense strenght, Double D would be like Luigi to an extent with goofy animations like the Dash Attack Plus usage of Gadgets such as the Canadian Squirt Machine Gun, and Eddy would be an aggresive fighter who goes in your face and strikes you with his Tounge. Also as an obligation, their attacks should feature their Sound Effects whenever they move or hit someone, that is a necessity for me. PPG: Again, another CN mainstay. While we do have CN characters in this game, we lack the Cartoon Cartoons, the shows that aired on the 90s to early 00's, Johnny Bravo, Courage, and so on) and i think PPG are the most likely ones so far, as they have gotten multiple adaptations through the years. I don't really have to make up a moveset here as i think it's easy to figure out how they would fight, but i think they will be a Bowser Jr scenario where Blossom is the default one and Buttercup and Bubbles are the Alts. I just hope that we get the '98 incarnations because i don't wanna look at the 2016 versions. Mordecai and Rigby: Regular Show is the post 2010 CN show that i really love. I liked Adventure Time and Gumball, but im not super crazy on them, but Regular Show kept me watching CN even after the original CN shows that i loved (Fosters, PPG, Chowder) Stopped beign aired. Both would be played separately, but i would imageine that they would use their Death Kwon Do martial arts knowledge in Battle, with Mordecai as the passive defensive one while Rigby is the beserker. Mac and Bloo: I specifically mention them, because i already mentioned 90s, early 2000s and and 2010's characters for CN, but i didn't mention a character from a mid 2000's show. While i can easily put the Eds on that category as they lasted for a long time, another CN original lasted up until 2009, and that was Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, and as agruably the most well known Post Cartoon-Cartoon show of that network. I unfortunately can't come up with any moveset ideas not found in Punch Time Explosion, outside of maybe giving Mac an install via Sugar Rush, and have him act like Orochi Iori. But for Bloo, please bring back Super Mega Bloo, that was awesome. Carl Brutananadilewski: As of now i only mentioned CN shows and while i can name a lot more who i would to have playable characters on this game (Chowder, Samurai Jack, Lazlo, etc) but i named enough, when it comes to Adult Swim, the only show i ever cared for was ATHF, and while i could choose someone like Master Shake, Frylock, Meatwead or even them as a trio fighter, Carl was always my favorite, basically an R-Rated Squidward and the fact that the game has voice acting only makes me want him more so i can listen to Dave Willis voicing him again. My only demand for his moveset is that it should feature explosions, which is a signature gag of the show. Eric Andre: Im only mentioning him for one reason. I never watched a single episode from the Eric Andre show, but seeing a few clips makes me realize is that he is the ONLY live action character who i think truly fits in with the rest of the crazy cartoon characters like Bugs and Tom and Jake, and i think that since Rick is a guarantee, i think Eric isn't too out there, there's already rumromongering for Lebron James anyway so if anything Eric is the most likely live action character to me so far, Gandalf notwithstanding. While i like the idea of a Jojo character (namely Joseph) im not expecting it to happen. Anime character licensing is another level of bull and apparently Multiversus was once pitched as a Shonen Jump crossover but was rejected. I mean WB Japan also had a hand in Is it Wrong to Pick Up Girls in Dungeon and Keijo and i don't think we are seeing those either. I think Anime is the only barrier Multiversus will not cross not because of fan-rules but because of legal trouble, but i will say if anime does happen, Jojo will likely be the one to make that happen.

Once Sonic goes to the water temple the movie stays at a consistent great. I enjoyed it and I'm hyped for the third movie, just worried about how they'll handle the drastic shift in tone. "Sonic 2 is a great family friendly movie". Sonic 3 "They shot a kid and recorded a man in front of a firing squad."

hal jordan is only THE green lantern because the comic writers and editors keep trying to make him THE green lantern. Jon Stewart and Kyle Riener are the main green lantern for two whole generations and most big DC fans I talk to prefer Guy or Alan scot. Theres also the new female lanterns who have started to get more notice. But the green lantern rep we all deserve ...is duck dodgers.
