The problem with a flat tax is that it is actually regressive. A flat 10% on everything is a lot harder to afford when you only make $20K a year vs $200K. That said I do agree it needs to be simplified. It's funny to say we have a progressive tax when rich people can find ways to not pay anything. And no, sticking it to poor people does not make them want to work harder. It just creates criminals and traitors. Anyway, I still like you, RJ. But we need to make politics about policy and not about cults.

A flat income tax could work..only with a VAT. Which would be nice for few reasons including no more crazy diff between advertised and final prices. But never gonna Happen due to the commercial interests that own country. And don’t forget the natl security-MI complex $$$$
