It sounds like Jeff has analysis paralysis. I too surfer from analysis paralysis, But I have found a work around. I made a Instagram account and didn't let any of my friends see it, just so i can get use to the feeling of putting out work without about it. In a way just building muscle memory of putting myself out there. Best of luck Jeff, hope to see your work soon! @tides.cv

It's Jeff! Thanks for taking my question Chase. I can tell you I have created short vlogs and LOVE the process. I've studied film on my own and love each step of the process I've done in recreation from writing scripts, filming, post - production the whole nine. I started doing vlogs back in 2012 on my iPhone 5 and posted to my channel, still there just private because I thought "These are horrible and need to be better". But that was then and here I am now still not creating as I'd like to. Now having a Canon 5D Mark IV, Phantom 4 drone, gimbals and a host of other gear to shoot with there really is no reason other than prioritizing my work (day job), which can be 12 - 16 hour days, over my passion for film. I will create more videos. I will need to be creative because I hate being on camera and really want to direct as I have ideas of films I'd like to create, but hating be on camera....I know that is not excuse not to create but difficult when you're a one man show. You are 100% right as was the woman speaking off camera as I'm "Not actually doing it". I need to create. I'll shoot a short this weekend, get the post - production work done, post to my channel and let you know. Thanks again Chase!

+JeffScherberger thx my man. No excuses. 😅😉 Start by sharing what you've already created. Start small. We've all got to start somewhere. It's the act of doing and sharing that actually makes us better. Looking fwd to seeing the short. 👊🏼

Actually, there have been so many delays in my pursuits. First, believing I need a business partner. Second, waiting for that big salary to support my business ideas. All of which precious time is lost. It would be great to see more videos on overcoming mental blocks and being a solopreneur.

Not being very specific was what was killing me. I was shooting everything I could for a bit but then I really broke my focus down (coffe related things). Now I am slowly building up my coffee product photography side hustle.

I’ve had plenty of blocks and reasons why I’ve not been following through with my dreams or just stuck in cold treacle... I’m pretty ok with the woo woo of life but even I was a bit sceptical on my 1st appointment of EFT..... I’ve never used a technique like it before or had such mind blowing results, clarity and answers why I do what I do. It’s not for everyone, too woo woo perhaps, but it will help, true story... Clarity for me was key, that way I don’t just react without mindfulness, but I understand what’s going on and I’m able to change my thoughts and/or actions to deliberately create what I want.

I was a slow learner to the 'love the process' and 'take massive action' concepts. It is a game changer!

JeffScherberger Awesome. The reason I love the advice from the segment is because it so relatable. A lot of people have the same mental block and fear. I see Chase's advice as an action call to get in there and grind. You're going to stumble but it's a part of the process. You'll have good days and bad days. If you can handle it and still enjoy what you're doing, you will find out just how bad you want it. It great advice for those who want to start and those who are doing. You have to love the process because that's where you are tested and that's how you grow. Applies to everyone, no matter what "your thing" is or the level you're doing it at.
