I loved the way he checked to see what order to tighten bolts up, others I have watched have just tightened whatever whenever. Coming from someone that had a car with a k-series engine I can appreciate this blokes artistry.

@mohlomphehi he also is/was a master/head tech at a dealership. I wouldn't expect anything else from him. I went to school to be a motorcycle tech, and I can safely say that once you do it the right way so many times, it genuinely hurts your soul to do it wrong. And atleast at the school I went to, it gets drilled into your head that taking the time to work on things right A) makes whatever it is more reliable which results with B) you making more money cuz customers aren't coming back and you're not wasting time making repairs on your own work for free.

Is the instant gasket as good or better than the ready made gaskets? I'm about to do a counter shaft replacement on a rc31 and there is a full gasket kit available. I'm noticing a lot of these rebuild vids they use the sealant on crankcase etc. is this because it is superior or just because of convenience/cost? I had a nc29 professionally worked on for gains before and I noticed the blue silicone around the seams so it seems to be very common on performance builds
