That actually happened to me, except the person who signed me in was the one who tried to come into my room while I was on the crapper. Then they called my room and were like "who are you and what are you doing in there?" and I was like "This is the room you signed me into (ya morons)" and they were all "Oh, sorry (not sorry)" - Holiday Inn Express Putnam CT.

​@elflingskitten They're both clean-dirty comedians, it's just Nate doesn't cuss ever because of his upbringing. Nate will still occasionally cover a dirty subject, he just does it cleanly. Nate uses little to no theatrics or vocal changes, whereas Jim does. They're both the things you want in a relatively clean comedy act.

I'll admit that most of the time his routine is the way things are. Back when the tornados whipped through the area I left home (no power) to get closer to work. I pulled into the Hilton Garden Inn Houston West Katy around 11:30pm and I have to say the person at check-in was wonderful, cheery, and knew what he was doing. While he was checking folks in he was still aware of and acknowledged and welcomed others as we entered the area. I was very impressed with his customer service.

I've worked in several hotels, always at the front desk, and I never get "chummy" with people checking in. Either it's the middle of the night and I know people just want a room as quickly as possible, or it's the middle of the "rush" and I've got a dozen people to get through while three separate phones are ringing, at least one of whom is my boss calling to check up on me. So I'm always "all business" with people. I actually get frustrated if the person working beside me starts making small talk with the guests. I'm just like "Why do you need to know their astrology sign? Just check 'em in, you horndog." In related news, I never read customer reviews, so I have no idea if my coworkers are more popular with guests than I am. **shrugs**
