CHEESY SCALLOPED POTATOES| recipe

4 large thinly sliced potatoes
2 cups whole milk
2 cups sharp cheddar cheese
2 tbsp flour
4 tbsp butter
Chopped onions
minced garlic
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp complete seasoning
1/2 chicken bouillon

heh Candy, I made this last night and it was a huge hit. I sliced the potatoes thin using the Food processor. I didn't have 1/2 tsp complete seasoning or 1/2 chicken bouillon but it was plenty good just the same. Thank you for the recipe, the pre-cook thickening of the filling in the pan is key to better scalloped potatoes.

I don't boil mine but it can be boiled first just cook it for a shorter time.

Yes, it's better, she is doing a small amount, for 6 to 8 @erving boiling is better, all the potatoes cook even and timing is everything.

375 degrees for 1 hour 20 mins then put it back In at 400 degrees uncovered for about 15 to 20 mins until it becomes golden brown .
