When I used to work at my previous job. It was just customer by the most clearest thing ever. She was 85 years old. I never would have guessed. I asked her what her secret was And she told me that she puts pure olive oil on her face everyday. ❤️ Olive oil is an amazing super versatile oil I love it. I never knew you could use this for capsaicin. ❤️

You shouldn’t, it doesn’t work. I should know because I just tried it. Soon further research I found you have to use something acidic, like lemon juice, tomato sauce, or vinegar. After using lemon juice I finally had relief.

I can't thank you enough ❤😭 I was cutting peppers, washed my hands, then unconsciously itched my nose.... needless to say, I was FRANTIC! Face soap did nothing, dish soap did nothing, lemon juice was a weird and unhelpful suggestion. AND THEN, like a gift from God above, your video appeared in my desperate Google search and took that horrible pain away! 🙏😭 May God rain blessings upon you and your family, you wonderful woman!! ❤️

😂😂😂 I used to work at a Mexican, Indian, and Caribbean restaurant. Once, all it took was once before I learned to wear gloves when making poppers. The owner was from Trinidad and HATES spicy food, so I had to handle the spices and taste testing 😋

How I love hot peppers! Just cut a habanero to put in my fresh collard greens last night bare-handed (every kind of glove bothers my skin). Washed my hands right away and had no burning at all. And I have sensitive skin! I'll never understand that. Thanks for the tip. If it ever is a problem, I'll know what to do. 😊

this happened to me last week when cutting them for salsa. it was on my hands too long, I tried dairy, oil, hot water and soap, everything to relieve the burning sensation. nothing worked sadly. if anyone else finds themselves in this situation don’t stick your hand in ice like I did, it makes it much worse. just take some strong painkillers and just wait it out it’ll go away in 4-12 hours

I’ve seen hot pepper channels on KZbin, spread misinformation. Saying, you just have to make sure not touch your eyes. Saying, gloves aren’t necessary. Meanwhile, I’m cooking salsa and I’m chopping up a bag of mixed hot peppers. I got them from a local farm and they were not labeled. So I didn’t know which individual pepper was which. They were ones I’ve never seen before. This was when I was a teenager. I was doing a salsa contest and my hands were on fire all day. I wish, I had known this sooner.

I am so happy I found this. I was eating crab legs once, and the spices weren't hot to the taste, but BOY...did they light my hands on FIRE!!! I washed 20x, no relief, I was desperate 😭, and ended up with my hands in a bowl of milk, soaking for a couple hours!! Sounds ridiculous, but I truly didn't know what to do, and it stung ssssoooo bad! As soon as I would take my hands out of the milk, 30 seconds later...back on fire!! If I'm ever in this situation again, I'm so happy I know what to do! Thank you! 🥰

You can also use a generous amount of dish soap like palmolive or similar. Capcasin is an oil, so degreasing soaps will take it off. I would maybe combine those two.
