Dr. Esser is completely right about alcohol! Not enough attention is being paid to this carcinogen that increases women's risk for breast cancer. Chef AJ, please do some interviews on the dangers of alcohol as this issue is back-seated in lifestyle discussions. If you bring this to the forefront, you will once again (!!!) be seen as the forward-thinking visionary person that we know and love! :-)

Agree. Alcohol is very damaging. I witness those who use it heavily in their cooking without drinking them really damage their liver, Pancreas, blood vessels and health. Drink no alcohol. Do not cook with them. Definitely. Especially for those people with weak DNA, i.e., people who have first degree relatives , such as parents, siblings, children, who have cancer. Women should especially refrain from drinking alcohol. Many women secretely drink or cook with alcohol. Very dangerous for health. Do not think that alcohol evaporates during cooking. No, they do not. Just don't drink or use alcohol. God bless!

33:00 The No. 1 risk factor is alcohol. And also smoking. I cannot agree more. Very sad story I witnessed. The one person I really would like to save from all these bad and sad carcinogenic animal diets and carcinogenic substances. Decades ago I told this person that this person should immediately stop cooking with alcohol so heavily and frequently almost at least one meal each day. This person would not stop using alcohol because this person wrongly thought that alcohol evaporates during cooking. Why this person used alcohol heavily? Beacause this person was cooking animal foods almost every meal every day since 35 years old. Because stopping using alcohol would mean to totally stop cooking and eating animal foods. This person had a hard time parting with animal foods, especially animal fats. Unfornately this person also mistook my friendly and caring advices as personal attacks and harbored deep resentment toward me for a long time because I was often trying to persuade this person to stop eating animals and eat only whole plants. This person was also under heavy second hand smoking since 35 years old. This person was unfornately involved in the business of selling alcohol and smoking. When I often told this person to stop selling these alcohol and cigarettes, this person was angry and resentful, and said that it was legally allowed. Eventually this person died of Stage 4 Pancreas cancer, and died only less than 3 months from diagnosis. Yet till death this person never understood that I was trying very hard to save this person's own life here by telling all the truth! Sad Sad Sad! Totally not what I want to see! No alcohol. Zero Alcohol! No smoking! No second hand smoking! No animal products. Also never invest or engage in the entire business of alcohol and cigarettes, and animal products! God will one day totally destroy these evil businesses such as alcohol, cigarettes, animal farming, processed foods, big pharma, big agriculture industries and businesses which are destroying people's lives and wellbeing. God bless!

I agree. Why is alcohol allowed on the market? It is unnecessary poison.

@@adiposerex5150governments tax it and make loads of money. But shortsighted because it costs society much more. Unfortunately governments aren't people focused. UK.

Thank you Chef AJ and Dr. Esser. I found this very informative and easy to understand. I'm a 12 year pancreatic cancer survivor (pancreas tail and spleen removed) and currently on no diabetes meds or digestive enzymes. Gall bladder is gone too. I'm about 85% plant based and honestly struggle with it at times. So far I'm only in the pre-diabetic range and can easily control my A1C with diet. I know i need to up my game here and this was very inspirational!

42:00 the chronic skin problem that does not heal in Pancreas cancer patients. just so true. If there is anyone who has such problem, this person should immediately stop cooking with alcohol, stop smoking, avoid second hand smoking, stop eating animals, go outdoors for at least one hour each day, eat 100% whole foods, and try to eat at least two pounds of cruciferous vegetables each day, such as broccoli, cauliflour, bok choy, etc. Use lots of all different kinds of spices and herbs. God bless!

This was great. Thank you. Amazing how I need to constantly watch these types of presentations to stay focused on being a good steward of my body-organs. Dr’s PowerPoint was perfect.

Watched yesterday, watching again today. Dr- Esser, M.D. is now one of my favorite guests. The organ system(s) - I'm very happy with this. Fingers , feet, forks - good slogan. He used to seem too nice, like all of my friends who talk way too diplomatically. After the presentation I think he said "diseases of stupidity/the stupid" -something like that - when talking of our common illnesses (caused by diet and lifestyle). I used that yesterday and will use it in the future. NOTE - around min 40. "Diseases of unintelligent people" - he explains a bit more. I guess I grew up with guys who speak more like Dr. Peter Rogers (smile) - he'd have said "stupid". A "Hoch" to Dr. Rogers! (that's good).

Thank you so much Chef AJ and Dr. Esser. This is a very very educating. This message urges me to find a much better environment close to nature and seek out and associate with the right group of people, who are VEGAN, away from all substances, peaceful, and fear God. God bless!

45:00 clean up our environments. True. I am trying very hard to clean up my building where there are a lot of stubborn necked heavy smokers who persist in smoking indoors against local laws. But due to deep corruption it is very unlikely to clean up this environment very soon. So for now I would just try my best to ventilize the corridors frequently. I will try my best to move out of this place as soon as possible to a much cleaner quieter place close to nature, away from these dangerous ignorant lawless unhealthy people. God bless!

I'm so very sorry Chef A.J. for the loss of your brother. I lost my husband in 2022 to pancreatic cancer. He was 77 and still working and physically strong when he was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. He lived 3 1/2 months after that. Horrible death. I had tried for years to get him on a plant-based lifestyle, but his love of cheese and fatty foods was his downfall. He didn't smoke or drink however and was about 35 lbs overweight. He didn't need any medication, but had somewhat elevated blood pressure.

Dr. Esser was very complete on his approach to pancreatic health and health in general. Love the anatomy lesson and the explanation of the associated disorders. He also really emphasized the importance of keeping a good environment to prevent falls, and had a good emphasis on enhancing BALANCE. Both of these factors are often neglected,; crucial, along with leg strength, which he also emphasized.

What may be going on on a T1 diabetic that is plant based and can’t loose weight? I’m so confused - unable to loose weight although T1 and plant based and endocrinologist thinks weight is not that important- sugar levels stable - no spikes

Well, honey, let me tell ya, switchin' to a diet filled with them whole, unprocessed plant foods is like givin' your pancreas a superhero cape! These kinds of foods are low in them processed sugars and fats, which can be harder than a two-dollar steak on your pancreas. Instead, they're packed with fiber and nutrients that make your pancreas feel like Superman, workin' less on overdrive and more on keepin' your blood sugar levels smoother than a gravy sandwich. This means your risk of gettin' type 2 diabetes might just drop faster than a hot biscuit on a cold morning!
