Crab Xeq Xeq | Xeq Xeq de Caranguejos by Chef Rego from Goa

Arguably Goas most favourite crab dish. The crab xeq xeq is loved across the state and is a definite favourite. This spicy preparation balances well with the flavour of the crab meat. Do try it out if you haven't had it already.
Ingredients
Fresh crabs - 4 to 5 nos
Chopped onions - 2 nos
Sliced onions - 1 nos
Chopped ginger - Half inch size
Chopped garlic - 4 nos flakes
Red chillies - 4 to 5 nos
Coriander seeds - 2 table spoons
Cumin seeds - Half tea spoon
Peppercorn - Half tea spoon
Cloves - Half tea spoon
Cinnamon stick - Half inch in size
Nutmeg powder - Half tea spoon
Freshly grated coconut - 1 no
Turmeric powder - Half tea spoon
Tamarind pulp - 2 table spoons
Salt to taste
Oil to fry
