@@ChelseaMae you make me smile every day!! I am joining the Lean With Plants program after praying about it and thinking about it for months. I was worried about the financial commitment. I have done nearly every plan and ended up gaining the weight back. I even did the crazy HCG diet which was 500 calories a day! Yuck!!!! I was feeling like I was “Broken” and ready to just give up. I am 57, have no ovaries or uterus, AND have only one of my thyroid glands and have hypothyroidism. But after listening to all of your podcasts, watching your videos, and reading the testimonies, I’m going to take the plunge. My husband is not vegan, but he is used to my eating this way. I’ve been vegan for 5 years now. Anyway, this piano teacher, Mom of 4 and Grammy of 2 is ready to really change for good. Thank you for coming into my life. I know God brought me to you. Hey Chels just wanna tell you that your videos are so freaking helpful for me and I know they will catch on for so many more people soon! I can’t afford your program at the moment and I would love to in the future, but having these videos paired with your podcast has helped me massively understand this way of weight loss and eating and I just love learning about it and then applying it to my life. I heard you say in a recent podcast that KZbin videos are a big struggle for you but please know they are so awesome and honestly I love how low production and casual they are! It makes them so much more easy to watch!! Your personality is just finally and easy I love ya! So thank you for making these and pushing through your making such an impact girl❤️

I’m team red potato because I haven’t given sweet potatoes much of a chance yet. I’ve mostly had sweet potatoes baked in oil and didn’t like the texture as much unless they were made crunchy. For awhile I ate very little potatoes at all because I didn’t like how they made me feel baking them in oil. I just assumed vegetables generally needed to be roasted in oil. In the past year or two I’ve enjoyed the magic of baking potatoes without oil and just love how they make me feel! I eat them all the time now. After seeing this video, I plan to give sweet potatoes a chance roasted without oil 😊

I love the idea of you taking each of these ingredients and showing 5 different recipes (like your oats preview) or ways to switch it up… I like each of them but get bored with the same way of eating them… for potatoes it would be cool to see how you’d use it in a soup/stew, vs bowl, vs idk other creative things to get ideas. Same for beans and the fruit…

Great video! Your explanations of fiber benefits, even non-vegans would appreciate. My fave food now and of all time is the purple Hawaiin sweet potatoes. They are like the Japanese but even more dense & cakey. My #2 is steamed brussels, cauli and/or sauteed cabbage. You taught me mustard on veggies and it is sooo good! My favourite weight loss food is definetly potatoes as well. You are so lucky to get this kind of sweet potatoe in New Zealand. In Germany we only can buy the orange yam like ones. But better than nothing eye. Of coures we do have a lot of different normal potatoe varieties in Germany. So there I am lucky. I definetly love also brokkoli. I am not a big leafy green fan like lettuces and such. I do not like the feeling of the leaves in my mouth, haha. But I also love cauliflower and cooked spinach or green beans a lot. Brussel sprouts and zucchini are also great. The frozen berries we can buy here are often sour and not sweet. That`s a bummer. But I do like to get wild frozen blueberries a lot. I also buy gluten free oatmeal. And of course bananas are a staple, just like potatoes. Huggs from Germany.
