I couldn’t help noticing that this supermarket was next door to a Blockbuster Video. How convenient must that have been; buy your groceries and then walk in and rent some movies for the weekend. That must’ve been cool.

This was taped in late 2012. That sammitch is now $15. I just retired from that deli after 24 years there. That manager (Dave) was the best guy you'd ever want to work for.

$20 for that kind of sandwich? No problem. Three meats and two cheese plus veg and dressing is a steal in the northeast. They were selling it for a song before. That's breakfast, lunch and dinner for a hungry short guy like me.

Ka'pella Nuwavin, you're correct. After taxes this one works out to just under $18. I had one last August on French bread (this is the Italian bread version) & after tax is added it's just over $20.

Was visiting Chicago back in '83, and stopped by a small deli next to the freeway that goes to Waukeegan. I asked for an Italian sandwich. The guy guy said, -You want the regular, or the TBO? -What's that? -The Big One. -Gimme a TBO. It was THE Best sandwich I've ever had in my life. I love Chicagoland and especially the food!
