It seems to be even better, hear me out: The credits are filled with polish people. In the USSR-controlled part of Europe there used to be literally no "normal" video game console distribution. There was a lot of offbrands, rip-offs and clones though (many people didn't even know about the original stuff) Anyways, G&W's Egg had a really popular rip-off called Elektronika IM-02 which was basically the same thing (with the wolf made a little bit more similar to a character from a certain soviet cartoon but still) Therefore I've come to conclusion that it's almost certain that they were more likely to be *ekhem* inspired by the toy of their childhood, making that minigame a rip-off of a rip-off. A rip-off-ception, you may say thank you for coming to my ted talk

The PC version actually had interactable elements with the environment that you could shoot at. For example, in the first level, if you shoot all the signs with a letter each, you get a health pickup. I don't see anything like that in the Wii version. It seems incredibly watered down. They just added the asian stage, removed the final boss and added that Egg ripoff. Huh. And yes, I've played this game when I was younger. And I didn't mind it. Kids are dumb.

not sure if the final boss is different, but there is a final boss in the Wii version. not sure if it's the same one, but the wii game ends with a tree level where you have to take down a chicken queen

I saw on the gba version there was a bonus level at some point in the arcade mode. This one was Christmas themed. Here it did get a bit more interactive and here's how: Chickens are apparently trying to thwart Santa's attempts to go down chimneys by sitting on top of them blocking him off. If you shoot a chicken off a chimney he is going to he will go down that chimney earning you a bunch of points in the process. If you shoot him though you lose points as you see him fall off the roof

Fun fact about that egg catching mini game is, Nintendo actually released a game and watch handheld that was called egg, or something in which you controlled a black wolf that caught eggs in a basket, every 200, 500 and 800 points or so would remove a penalty and if you seen a bird on top of a chicken coop and made a mistake it would only give you half a penalty.

I got this pile for Christmas around 2011-2012, and it came in a special pack that came with cheap, 1887 lever-action looking plastic light gun peripherals that could hold both the remote and the nunchuk; thing is, you only need the remote, so the aforementioned peripheral was immediately useless. I played this for a little bit, 'cause I was genuinely excited for getting a new game for the Wii... and I got bored with it really fast. Mom gave it a try herself, and she gave the verdict that not even my nephew would enjoy it. Needless to say, not even two days after we got it, it was immediately traded in.

To add in extra details Rerez forgot, the infamous Wii version of Chicken Shoot was actually a port of a sequel to Chicken Shoot, entitled "Chicken Shoot 2: Mr. Frank's Revenge" (Frank is the farmer's name.), also known as in the original Polish, "Kurka Wonda 2: Zemsta Pana Franka". You know what this means? Rerez and Co. actually took a look at a bad version of a sequel of a popular PC game! And something Rerez forgot to mention in the video is that there are going to be ports for the PlayStation 2 and the GameCube. They never came out. Good riddance! But could you imagine how it will perform on the PlayStation 2 and the GameCube?
