Just made this, absolutely stunning and surprisingly easy too. Although I made it slightly healthier by omitting the egg, lightly dusting the chicken in cornflour and shallow frying it in coconut oil in the wok.

Looks good Kwok, but can I ask if it is 1 tsp of ground Szechuan pepper corns that have then been ground down, or 1 tsp of ground Szechuan peppercorns?

Personally I use 1 tsp whole and then ground them down. I'm not that keen on the numbness so I use a little less but you can use as much as you like.
