Winston had mentioned gutter oil back when he was living in China, but at least back then it apparently wasn't the problem that it is now, it went from a few unscrupulous restaurants and street vendors to literally all of them. Unless Winston was being restrained in describing the scope of the problem a decade ago.

Food safety Lesson: Maggots themselves are not dirty, if you were to eat a living maggot (fly ones obviously not others), they would just die in your digestive tract. What maggots do imply is that the food was exposed to the environment and in close proximity to garbage, rotting food...etc where flies are present. So the food has probably been contaminated with untold amounts of bacteria, viruses and fungi. Either way, throw that food away because if you eat it, something that you cannot see will probably kill you or poisons you in a way that leaves you with some sort of disability. Edit: The toxins that bacteria and fungi produce are no joke. Even if contaminated food is fully cooked, you can still get poisoned and die.

I don't think this is happening on the same scale as CHyna but its not that far off. The elites around the world want to distance themselves as much as possible from the rest of us.

Back when there was the Chinese pork scare, every single Chinese visitor to my country (Taiwan) brought pork. We had to really dish out huge fines to curb this weird phenomenon. I’ve heard a lot of reasons for their weird obsession with their own pork, but I personally believe that it was an insidious plan to contaminate Taiwanese pork because Taiwan eats a lot of pork so our pork industry is quite important for us.

Visited a few cities in China 6 years ago. We stayed in 4 star hotels where the food was good. However, during the day we would be out visiting sites and we were brought to restaurants. Each one of them was not really good. A few people in our group were sick because they wanted to try the food that was served. Sometimes, we didn’t even know what type of food was being served. At the airport waiting for our flight back home to Canada, my wife ate a pizza at Pizza Hut. She got sick from that food as well, never eat milk products from China. In any case, I still enjoyed my time in China, I will never go back. I make it a point to never buy food imported from China.

That's so sad. 😔 For the Chinese people themselves obviously, but also for tourists wanting to get to know genuine Chinese cuisine. I visited China in 2005, for two weeks, and all of the food was SOOO good, I basically would overeat at each meal, normally I don't do that. 😅 We would eat as a group at various restaurants, big or small, posh or not, rarely in the hotels themselves, and it was organized privately, so it was quite random. I personally didn't give a fck and also bought from street vendors/carts, pineapple quarters on a stick, ice cream, a cooked duck egg,... I temporarily took on 5 kg of weight in that short time. I acknowledge that might not be much compared to what other people say they gain of weight during, say, the holidays, but for me it was new, I always was and am slim and had the same weight with very little fluctuation. So yes, back then, all the Chinese food was delicious (and presumably relatively safe), from Beijing to Shanghai. It saddens me very much that I and other people won't have that experience again ... 😢 I generally do like the Chinese and other Eastasian food that we can get here (Austria) in restaurants, but there were just so much more variants and choices in China, and it was made with much more finesse. 💔

Seven trips to China in the 2015-2020 years. Everything is really bad. The water, the air, the food is dirty and polluted. If you go to China, unless you are in a carefully sequestered group, you will get intestinal distress. Some restaurants get cooking oil salvaged from sewer drains. Some shrimp farms are fed with chicken poop. Soils are exhausted and polluted. Most food markets are disgusting. By their own admission, 600 million (out of 1.4 billion) live on less than 1000yuan , about $140 a month. Even without the repressive government, China's future is not good.

The Hutt analogy is on point. Xi is probably Winnie the Hutt. Hell, that's essentially what they're doing in the West Philippine Sea. After they fully exploited their seas, they invaded the West Philippine Sea just to poach corals and endangered animals. And then they're gonna wonder once again why they're not catching anything. Thank god the Philippines was able to win custody over the Benham rise and thank god the Sulu and Celebes sea are well beyond Palawan and fully under the custody of the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, etc. Else the Fishes will have no breeding ground. That's originally what those shoals that we're fighting for are. They're breeding ground for fishes so China's island building would definitely affect global food supply in the long run.

During my visits to China from 2015 to 2019, I saw many alarming things with regards to the food supply. First, they had more food available than I could ever imagine. Food stores, markets, all flooded with "fresh" vegetables, fruits, and meats. It all looked so perfect too. No flaws. Then I saw the spraying going on in the fields. Lots of it. I saw them dumping who knows what into the waterways. I could NEVER drink water from the tap. It had to first be filtered, then boiled. Truckloads of bottled water arrived daily in the city (Changchun). Where'd all that plastic go? The Chinese people have set themselves up for a major disaster with their food supply.
@dontcare7086
@dontcare7086 5 ай бұрын
Filtered boiled tap water doesn't do anything as far heavy metals. These guys have explained that on their channels as well. That's why the chinese don't bother with anything but bottled water. If you were filtering and boiling it you sucked down heavy metals the entire time you were there and should really get regular blood work and other testing done for the rest of your life. I'm not trying to scare you. Getting a yearly checkup is not going to identify a lot of the health issues heavy metals cause. You have to explain this to your doctor because standard blood work panels won't check for the areas you need regular testing in due to insurance only covering the cheapest most ineffective panels. Insurance generally covers the panels you should be getting but your doctor has to order them and has to tell your insurance you have just cause to get the panels done. Doctors doing yearly blood work aren't ordering certain cancer detections, organ failure, etc.. caused by Chinese tap water contaminated with heavy metals and factory runoff you cannot filter or boil.

China was an empire during 19th century and had an emperor. But then opium war brought by England drug Lords came and destroyed everything. They lost the war on drugs and the last dynasty ended. Then a period of warlords, then war and finally communism. In 1979 they started to play Anglo-Saxon money games in that new Lassies Faire regime that turned China into the perfect libertarian dream it is today with almost absolute deregulation and absurdly low taxes. This lack of intervention and regulation is what causes all this food problem. It is a consequence of the libertarian economic environment business enjoy. When asked about that accident and how is that guy answers were pretty much like what accident and he is fine most likely went to get band aid and coming back soon... For some reasons that relative and his co-workers deemed this is not the company they are going to deal with.

I was in the bathroom the whole time. Still had diarrhea when the plane landed. Wouldn’t stop the whole night. I lost so much weight! I’m lucky to be alive and I was young to fight whatever rotten soup they gave me. I’m glad I only took a couple of bites. Cause it just didn’t taste and smell right! Industrial expansion and few regulations. If drinking water is unusable, that impacts food safety as well.

Thanksgiving commemorates a harvest festival, so I wouldn't say the Western world forgot about them. ;) I'd argue that the concept of a harvest festival responds to a desire buried deep in the human heart, so brushing that concept aside completely is not actually a good thing. With that said, an interesting contrast can certainly be made between a harvest festival that celebrates a successful harvest because the alternative was a live possibility and a commemoration-of-a-harvest-festival that calls back to a time when successful harvests weren't guaranteed to help people who quite reasonably take successful harvests for granted understand how lucky they are to be able to take successful harvests for granted.

I've painted several little tools with fluorescent orange 🧡 nail varnish, and also with fluorescent RED ❤ nail varnish that I mixed myself. You need to apply white first, as all fluorescent colors are quite transparent. Also always cover it with a clear top coat. I did this more for fun, during the lockdowns, but damn it looks good, AND it definitely helps finding the stuff in dim light. I already gave away two of these pens... Of course it also glows in blacklight!! ❤🧡 If you go for glow in the dark, here's two things: 1) Use strontiumaluminate based pigments, NOT the old zinc sulfide pigments. Their performance is literally 10x better. They are also available in several glow colors. Green, aqua/cyan/turquoise, and blue, are the three ones that have decent performance. 2) They must not be used in water based paints, the pigment degrades instantly at contact with water. Use other solvents or coating resin. There are coated versions available though, that can be used with water. 3) Glow-in-the dark paracord, micro cord (= thinner), and "dog leash rope" (a stiffer rope) ARE available online, and most use the new glow pigments. You could braid little pendants for the zippers of your wallet and for your keyrings, or something like that. Just an idea. Same goes for fluorescent paracord obviously. If you need more infos about glowy stuff, just ask. 😂 💚

@@ande100 It seems my previously written 2nd comment has vanished, possibly because of two reworded links. 😒 Copypaste with that stuff removed: @ande100 Thanks a lot! 💚 I doubt Home Depot has those glow ropes though, and can't post links here. Seek for craft shops that focus on paracord. ( Website names removed. 😒 ) Tip, in case strontiumaluminate is not mentioned directly: if the product description uses wordings like "new generation glow pigments" or tells of "high performance glow pigments", in this case it is usually true. If, on the other hand, a cheap offering of three or four 10 m bundles of glow-in-the-dark paracord is shown, and on the daylight photos one has that typical pale yellowish-green, while the others have pastel colours or fluorescent colours, BUT on the night pictures ALL look a shade of green more or less, these are NOT using the new pigments. 😉 I am using nail polish for small objects after trying out many other lacquers, that take forever to dry. 🤨 1) It dries very quicky and is not too runny. Relevant since this pigment is very heavy. 2) The surface (with clear coat) is resistive and non-sticky, and won't collect dirt easily. 3) It is more on the elastic side than brittle. If applied on polystyrene or polycarbonate, hard PVC, glass, metal, or wood, it barely ever chips off or breaks. If, say, a painted pen pushes against keys in a bag very strongly, the coating might get a slight dent, but it won't chip off. If mixing clear nail varnish with pigments (as opposed to liquid solvent based dyes), you might need to thin down the result with acetone for a bit, as it might get too viscous. Also, reckon on the components separating to a degree after a while, so that you need to shake it. Ready bought nail varnish in many cases does not do that (others have a steel bead in them for shaking), because they can adjust the viscosity and weight of the components. Also, there is definitely no need to buy an expensive nail varnish. Not worth the money. For example, I'm using "Look", the own brand of the Bipa chain, it is very cheap, and others were no bit more resistant or easy to apply. For coating, I use clear or matte varnish from the same brand.

2 thoughrs to consider. If a billion and a half chinese citizens stormed their corrupt government, would they succeed with the takeover? #2. Maybe if there werent a billion and a half people, but perhaps 200 or 300 million (just guessing) there wouldn't be a food shortage.

They'd still have massive food shortages. The USA far outperforms any other nation and we are struggling with food shortages. Given our standards are extreemly high far higher than the rest of the world.

Nah, it doesn't work like that. Those Malthusian theories, when 18th century Europe belived that if you kill all poor people then everyone is going to be rich, been debunked long time ago. 200 or 300 million chinese would soon be a billion. If a territory is able to house a billion then that much is going to live there. You can not artificialy lower or increase number of population, its not sustainable. There is an underlying economy beneath an increased or decreased popultion. If economy is constructed to provide for a billion and you have 200 millions then it doesn't mean that life of those 200 millions will be 5 times better. Its only going to adapt to those 200 millions and thats all.

@@tylerrobbins8311 And in europe those enviroment laws and ways to use fertilisers and pest controls are even more strict. So in that sense even less unwanted chemicals. But yes if things are going like they are now i think we might have global food crisis in very soon in future. And that is going to be a nasty one...

China doesn't have a shortage of food, they have a shortage of food that is safe to eat, between toxic chemicals and just poor food safety in general.

Was at a chinese restaurant other night. Table was greasy like from food oils etc, soup etc, then wiped with a dirty damp cloth thats been used on every single table without any table cleaner spray. Cloth has been used all day cleaning over 100tables through out the day. Floor was greasy from kitchen shoes, food on floor, oils from food on floor and soup etc… You can feel the stickiness on the floor when you walk. A waitress dropped a paper cup they serve when you arrive they give it to you. Cup cost about 20-50cents. A plain small paper cup. Waitress dropped it on floor and still served it to thr new customers to drink on. So disgusting. Ive seen them drag garbage bags on the same floor where the cup fell. Waitress was looking at me to see if i will catch her give it to the new customers . Her face turned red. Coz i caught her. But i didnt say anything.

Agreed. My ancestors were stolen from Africa but landed in the US. I could have landed in Haiti, DR, or stayed in Africa and be one of those people you see stuck in rafts trying to get to Europe. I really thank Jesus every single day my ancestors were strong enough to survive that holocaust, because I and my family benefitted.
