I have some SI joint and hip problems that tend to make my erector spinae feel like a steel cable. This has been the only reliable fix and I cant live without it.

Hi I think you are amazing doing this channel and giving all your helpful advice for free 👍. I have a pain in my lower back that stops me from standing or walk for any length of time ,it’s like a hot poker being inserted in to my back. I have OA , Fibromyalgia and a slipped disc at the bottom of my back and because of this I have not left the house in a few yrs. I have stairs in my house up to the bedroom and the toilet is down stairs so I get a lot of exercise because I am most comfy up in my bed so I spend most of the day there , have you any idea what’s wrong with me or how I can help myself .p.s I can’t get on the floor to exercise because I can’t get back up ,I can’t kneel my knees hurt too much and swell up ,so sorry this is a long comment / letter, Katie from Scotland UK 😊🏴🫶

Hello Doctor. I suffer from chronic lower back pain but oddly enough i tend to injure my mid-back (between the shoulder blades) more often when i work out. It may be due to an overall muscular weakness because normally that happens when i am performing pull ups or heavy rows or, lately, even dips. When i get this pain i need to take anywhere from a week to ten/twelve days off to rest and even have a couple of TECAR sessions to help alleviate the pain. What can i do to recover more quickly and possibly stay as much injury-free as possible?

Hey there, sounds like this may be a neck problem that is causing pain in the middle back! We have a great video that may be able to help you find some relief! Here is a video that is highly recommended to review in case you are interested in learning more: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ioXHmWZjeb-Am7M

@@epmanualphysicaltherapy Just devoured that neck relief video and it looks very much like you've hit the nail on the head Doc: i might have neck issues too, aside from the ongoing degenerative disc diseases in my lower back. I can already tell the difference after doing the exercises outlined in the video. Next i am definitely getting an MRI, for the whole spine though not just for the lumbar region. One last thing Doc. I am looking for a high-quality office chair that features great lumbar support and, by the looks of things, a proper head rest as well; this may sound counterintuitive but, do you physiotherapists swear by a particular chair? Thanks again Doc, you've just gained a new fellow subscriber ;-)

@@epmanualphysicaltherapy There are so many things that i'd like to ask you Doc...Where to start? A proper mattress suggestion would be a great place to start. As i was saying, i have chronic lower back pain and probably even some herniated discs in my neck as well. I need a mattress that'll help me alleviate the excessive pressure on the remaining discs as well as vertebrae so that they can open up and lengthen during sleep, which my current mattress does not do.

I had the earlier model, a thinner one, and it flopped over and I broke two ribs on the hard plastic.

Hey John, Thank you so much for sharing your experience with the Chirp Wheel Foam Roller! We are so sorry to hear that you injured yourself using an earlier model of this product. Your feedback is important and it helps others make educated decisions when purchasing products.🙌 Please take care!

Would you recommend this for someone with herniated disks?
@wellyforpm8 ай бұрын
Not really, you'd be better off with an inversion table.

Be careful with the glue that holds the pad together against the plastic cylinder. It comes apart with minimal use and the warranty from the company is absolutely useless. They do not respond to their warranty claims. After repeated attempts to contact the company, I’m left to social media to try to get help. Unfortunately I’ve not heard anything from Chirp

Quit lying to people. I've had mine for about a month and nothing has fell apart with no signs either. Your product is faulty.
