Granny Pat, you did it again! What a wonderful video. You are ( at times) naturally funny I think. During this video, you really cracked me up when you mentions not liking to go live and say hello to everyone 😂😂😂! As a viewer I don’t like that part either. And if they donate lot then the presented gushes. Reminds me of school and being in clicks. When you mentioned it, I started laughing so hard. You made my morning. I love watching your videos and I like the slow, from beginning to end type. No need to speak fast, cut out huge chunks of content to make things what they are not. Just keep doing what you are doing! I know I am not as regular as I would like to be as a viewer but I have health issues that sometimes get in the way. So much fun watching you in that kitchen! I’ve got a big kitchen now, but I am jealous you have everything you need at an arm’s reach! I remember that convenience with my last kitchen, and how I took that for granted. I guess we are never happy with what have, are we? 😆 Ditto feeling on the idea of doing live videos! I always thought it was so boring listening to someone say hello to each and every person! Serve the bisque in large mugs - stays hot and it is such an easy way to enjoy without spills. Hint: try the miniature petit toasts with the bisque.They can usually be found near the main cheese section of the store (not the shredded cheese packages).

Next you can’t find peach Jello, stir 2T unflavored gelatin powder into the peach juice and bring to a boil- cool. You need a wooden whisk and a rubber spatula for this dessert ❤

Hello Granny Pat 🙂 I just love to sit listening to you chat and watching your foodie videos, everything you’ve made looks so appetising, I have never ever liked peaches but this torte looks absolutely delicious and I really want to try it, I think I will love it! I’m not sure if I will find pecan cookies in Lancashire, North west England, but I will try to source some. If I can’t , do you think if I get some pecans and chop them up will that work adding them to the cookie base or should I give them a quick toast first to make them think they’ve been in the oven for the same time as the cookies would of took to bake? Ooooh I just found the recipe book , oh I so hope i can cook any of your recipes half as well as yours look , i will be over the moon 🙂, sorry I watched the part 2 first as I’d just woken up from a get well soon nap , I hope your evening is as wonderful as you . Love talking to someone from England. Regarding the torte crust, First, this was the original recipe for crust: 2 sticks butter room temperature. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 1cup chopped pecans. Mix well and bake at 400 degrees, stir frequently to prevent burning. Let cool and crumble in bottom of dish. You can also go with a graham cracker crust. (I changed the first layer for a simple crust).

Granny pray for my brother he has lung n gets treatments everday for 4 more weeks. We are all post covid post FluA n post deadly RSV virus. Im weak n sick i have a 150 mile trip today to take him for treatments. I drop him n come home its hard to sit in car n wait 6 hours. God please heal him and us plus anyone suffering give us healing n strength. Alottle shout out for prayers. How do u stay so healthy im 66 and xan barely walk to the bathroom. Now driving its hard Good luck on your recieps.

Maybe you could use the juice from your peaches, add sugar, a little cornstarch in water, stir it over low heat until it forms a sauce. Maybe that would work. Add a little yellow food coloring for color. Don’t you think that would work?
