I used a recipe from Martha Stewart yesterday, and it's more or less exactly the same. They use melted chocolate which means using flour to bind it all together instead of cocoa powder. Something to bear in mind to make GF-friendly. Similar result to those: soft chewy with just a tad of crunch underneath. I didn't have chocolate chips so I chopped milk chocolate with hazelnuts. This type of cookie is really a great treat!

I just made these and WOW so good!! I changed a few ingredients but followed the same measurements. I subbed butter for coconut oil, white sugar and brown sugar for organic and sugar with molasses, and everything else the same! Really really awesome and simple recipe, keeping this recipe for sure!!

Oh my goodness. These were......AMAZINGGGG! No really- they are just how you described them, Gemma - goey and delicious. I used dark chocolate for everything (cocoa powder & pieces) and it tasted heavenly! I know lots of people just watch he vids and never do them, BUT YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS!!!! ♡♡

Tried these for a thanksgiving dessert and the family loved them I’m 12 and I made mine a little bigger but now I made them for Christmas and theyre the hit of the desserts I prefer adding extra spoonful of coco powder for a darker chocolate

I made these right after seeing your video this evening and they turned out really nice. Crunchy on the outside and sticky and chewy on the inside. I substituted vanilla essence with peppermint essence and it works very well with the chocolate too. Thanks a lot for your wonderful videos and recipes! :-)

Do you recommended Dutch process’s cocoa or just regular unsweetened? thankss!

Dutch processed is de-alkalized, so it is smoother, but it should still be unsweetened. Cocoa is an alkaline ingredient, so can add to the raising when used with an acid ingredient, but here it is not important :)
