You should do one where they pick based off of which gym badge is the earliest you can get a mon, but with one lie. It seems easy at first, but then you realize you can get some pretty crazy Pokemon (legendaries in gen 1) before you “beat the game”

Wow, choosing a team of starters only knowing their debut console is hard enough because there's about 2 Gens for every console, but add 2T1L and now you REALLY don't know what you're getting. Choosing by Gen/console is probably the broadest category, so there's only so much you can go off of. It's always interesting to see how these things play out, and how each person does when it comes to their strategy
