Thanks for your comment, it is refreshing for us to know that there are those who are willing to question their accepted understanding of the scriptures as presented by the 'Church's' Christadelphians search the scriptures and are a community that have arrived at the same conclusions - thanks again!

First rule of a cult - deny the deity of Christ. Second rule - we are not a cult.

@leroy broun What did Jesus say about himself and his Father? Jesus said he came to glorify God (John 17:4), which we are told he did through his willing submission and obedience (Philippians 2:9-11). From Jesus’ own words we learn: Jesus does nothing of himself (John 5:30, 19; 8:28) It is ‘God’s word that Jesus speaks’ and not his own (John 8:26; 7:16) Only God is good (Mark 10:18) Only God knows the ‘day and the hour’(Mark 13:33) His Father is greater than he is (John 14:28) God was still Jesus’ God, even after the resurrection! The resurrected Jesus told Mary that he was about to go to, “my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’” We are told that Jesus LEARNED obedience through suffering and was MADE perfect (Hebrews 5:7-9) We are told that Jesus prayed to his Father (Matthew 26:53; John 14:16; Hebrews 5:7-9) We are told Jesus is ONE with the Father (John 17), but a few verses later, Jesus requests that the believers also be ‘ONE’ with him and his Father. This indicates that the ‘oneness’ referred to, is a oneness of mind and purpose. Even now that he is in heaven, Jesus is still referred to as: a ‘man’ (1 Timothy 2:5) - the ‘mediator BETWEEN God and men.’ He still has a God (John 20:17; Ephesians 1:3; Romans 15:6) History attests to the fact that Trinitarian ideas led to a huge split in the Church in around 300AD. The Creeds that were written - Nicene and Athanasian use Unscriptural terms in their attempt to explain this new theory, which Constantine (an uncommitted Christian until his death), determined to make the 'official' church teaching because he felt it was politically expedient. An excellent book on this great controversary is "When Jesus Became God" by Richard Rubenstein. www.amazon.ca/When-Jesus-Became-God-Christianity/dp/0156013150 For more on this topic you can also view originalgospel.blog/2020/03/21/jesus-son-of-god-or-god-the-son/

bible-based religion does not mean biblical religion. RCC claims to be bible-based but they pray to mary. Seems that Christadelphianism is a cult because it claims to be christian but fundamentally deviates from true Christianity, in that Jesus is Deity. If they had a totally different book, like the book of mormons or koran then they would just be another religion. If they actually believe in the Bible that penalty for one sinful life is one death, if Jesus is just a man as they believe, then Him sacrificing HIs perfect life could only save one other human individual. they have a different Jesus than the one described in the Bible.

@leroy broun With respect to your opinion, we don't agree, an examination of the scriptures clearly show the true nature of Christ. The atonement, temptation and many other doctrines would fall flat if Christ was/is physically God! Anyhow, we will look to do a video on this in the same format as this video, we will add it to the list. But as explained in the interview, your reasoning does not make the community a cult - A sect possibly, but not a cult!

@@Christadelphians i'm not saying Jesus was not a human, i'm saying scriptures says that Jesus was both God and human, but my understanding is that christadelphianism believes he was ONLY human. "The Word became Flesh"

@@leroybroun4106 that is correct, Christadelphians accept that which the scriptures reveal, that Jesus was only human, but born of the Holy spirit by Gods power. You really only have to think of it logically, Why would God, creator of all, create himself in a human body while also still existing in his natural state of Almighty God, so in effect existing in duality...Two Gods living two separate existences, one praying and worshipping the other? The whole significance of Christ's life and unjust death was to show people that God is right in his judgement that mortal man must be obedient to God's Laws and precepts if he is to obtain salvation. Christ did this and is therefore is the only example for us to follow knowing that it is achievable, Jesus, having lived a life free from sin had to die to show that God was righteous and this he did willingly. This would mean nothing if Christ was really God, as God cannot die! It had to be a willing sacrifice of an obedient mortal, sinless (unblemished) man who was subject to the curse of Adam (death- appointed by God), which Christ was, being born of a woman. This is the only way to understand God manifestation, to call Jesus God is blasphemy. You may find this series helpful if you wish to look into to this further... christadelphianvideo.org/studyvideo/understanding-gods-righteousness-series/

@@Christadelphians i understand that's how they choose to interpret some verses but that's not what's accepted by christian church and orthodoxy. For christianity God became flesh in Jesus, Jesus is both God and human, that's christian fundamentals. that's why i'm saying it is either a christian cult or a different religion altogether. christians should not listen to their teachings and doctrines because they have a different Jesus Christ, even if they like their interpretation. You change Jesus and christianity is gone.
