Not to make anyone sad or down, both my grandmother and I would like you to enjoy this song. This song was played at my grandmothers funeral, both my grandmother and grandfather always though about life in a positive way, they always wanted us to enjoy life, and not mourn them always or stay in a sulk after their passing. This song will remind me of her and make me smile, I enjoy life. I heard Steve Harley past away earlier this year. May he rest in peace.

My dad sang this on the tv show Stars in your eyes in the 90’s! Steve was so impressed, he gave my dad his guitar to play on the show and to keep!!! Generous and humble human being. Myself, I’ve been listening to Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel since the 70’s. My first album of theirs, unfortunately I forget the name of but, (where Steve is sat in the huge wicker chair) one of my favourite songs on the album was Sebastian….where the orchestra kick in…Superb album!! Indeed, the loss of another one of our iconic 70’s singers. Sleep peacefully 🙏🏻🕊️

young people today do not understand how much of an impact the release of these records was in the days before the internet and streaming. we would wait each week for the new chart to be released and then to see the acts on music shows like Top Of The Pops, eagerly looking to see whether our favourite record/s had gone up or down in the chart. Everything today is instantaneous - then, we had to wait for stuff.

Saw him the first time in Brussels on 10 March 1976 during Timeless Flight tour (with legendary Arno as supporting act). Afterwards more than 20 times, last time last year 25 April in Leuven. I followed him my whole life, nobody’s music came so close to my heart. Enjoyed his music, enjoyed his concerts. He gave us the best feelings one can have. So sad, but so thankful!
