The first half of season 3 was epic but it went downhill and didn’t pick up till end of season 5

I loved S3 because they were basically like a cute, married couple until Jack ruined everything lmao. Then S4 was okay… S5 is pretty heartbreaking until the last few episodes. Honestly you can tell the writers were just putting obstacles between them. They should’ve gotten back together, at the latest, mid-S5. The Dan stuff was basically a huge waste of time.

Chuck is being an ass here. I love the character but you can tell he has no idea how to handle losing someone you love. He thinks “love” is like a magic word to fix everything. He gets help for this later on, but it’s clear he’s really struggling with the idea of letting go. He misses Blair so much, but he’s self-medicating with women and drugs instead of bettering himself.
