This is a nice, concise recipe CiCi! One of the best I have seen (and I’ve looked at many). Particularly regrinding the preparation of the ‘kimchi porridge’. Things that I wish I’d known about Kimchi, earlier on in life: - Kimchi is a strong red dye (due to the red pepper flakes). Be mindful of your clothing, and/or wear an apron when cutting Kimchi. - Kimchi will stain your cutting board. The easiest/cleanest way to cut kimchi is in a ceramic bowl, using kitchen scissors. - Kimchi grilled cheese is a wonderful sandwich! There are lots of recipes online. - Kimchi is a great side dish on its own; but it’s also wonderful as another base aromatic / flavor enhancer. I often add chopped kimchi as a third aromatic, just after I have sauteed onions and garlic. This builds a wonderful flavor profile for many soups and dishes. - Assuming you’ve not eaten all your kimchi after several months, the ferment will begin to get a bit soggy and it will begin to bubble. Don’t discard it! Look for a good kimchi soup recipe and make that. It’s very delicious and easy to prepare.

@@CiCiLi as you know, I responded during the live chat. I mentioned that fortunately you include the recipe in the show more section. I made my response before seeing that you were adding many more ingredients than you have listed below the video. I will just obtain them from the video when attempting to copy your techniques. Keep up all of your fine work! Thank you.

@@CiCiLi I forgot to mention that I also clicked on the link on your video just before it ended to view The Best Korean Kimchi Recipe 韓國泡菜, The National Dish of Korea! recipe. I encountered the same problem when trying to use the link to print the written recipe. When I was able to, I viewed your videos regularly, even recording them, and always printed the written recipe without incident. Perhaps my Malwarebytes is being overly sensitive, but I will stick to pen and paper just to be safe as your recipes are always worth saving.
