Tom, there's just something magical about watching you walk out into the woods. Then seeing you pull out that Solo Stove Titan, fill it with chunks of dry wood that you just processed, and then make your cowboy coffee with a little wink as you add the whiskey. Most of us have seen it dozens of times, but it never seems to get old. I can't understand it, but the attraction (for me, at least) is very real. Thank you for another wonderful video!

Great approach with the tripod tarp setup . I've only ever seen it the other way around with the tarp over the tripod and having the timber outside gives many possibilities .

I like the way you put up that tarp in a 3 way setup and it is standing perfectly too. My main reason for using KZbin is to gain knowledge about bushcraft. I also learn about new products which I can use, and I love meeting new people and lastly, to learn new bushcrafting techniques.

Bottomline is that you do it for personal satisfaction...seeking peace and tranquility in the heart of the wilderness while doing what you love....BUSHCRAFT, Photography and Videography. I used to own a studio as well...back in the days where I process my own black and white photos and I also do linear video editing. I truly love combining all my skills in the wild while I carry just my smart phone...haha. I can't afford to carry all heavy equipments. Thanks for sharing my friend and all the best.- joel

Great video Tom nice tarp but a little heavy for me to hike in with. I have an aquaquest king camo tarp 10 x 13 it in it's self is 5lbs. but super duty. i might buy a lighter version from DD for hiking and use the big one for camping with the wife so we can split the load more lol. thx again

Hi, and the real reason the we do it, is because we know that we all live in “tents”. For 70-80 years if we are strong. We were built to walk in the wilderness and love it in the wild. Who needs central heating when we can sit under a tarp in front of a fire heating some coffee! And share it with friends. Kind regards Tim
