I unfortunately live in France at the moment. Five years ago I was part of an arts-council funded exhibition designed to motivate an entire generation of school-leavers! The sort of kids who like myself, shall we say weren't academically inclined! This exhibition involved 11 other artists from all over France, who like me took a week off to do this and hired trucks out of our pockets to set up six satellite exhibitions. This was a total failure,! Jjust my parents bringing me a flask of tea doubled the number of visitors on the Saturday. The following week I was at a meeting with the mayor and most of the other artists who were equally furious to ascertain why this event was a failure. After about an hour the Mayor said "I don't understand why nobody came, as we had stapled the posters to the telegraph poles!" 😶 Happy non-specific seasonal festival to you. I like your style... That's what your brilliant sketch reminded me of. 🏆 Best wishes from an Englishman making armour in a French forest. 🇬🇧⚒️

I have a similar problem. I was round at a friend's house a few years back. He was sitting on the floor on a thread-bare persian carpet, that was essentially the hard floor itself. He did a little fart that cracked like a bullwhip as his tender ring slapped the flat hard floor. His meek, resigned, but questioning 'ow' that went up at the end like an Australian surf dude was a sentiment I could really understand, as it must have stung a bit, the pain being quite unexpected though. Sometimes I remember this as I am walking through the busy town centre, perhaps it is my mind playing tricks on me, as I know it's an innapropriate place to laugh randomly when alone, but it still gets me after all these years. 😂

Someone else scared/frightened of clowns. When I was young my dads company always had a Christmas party for the employees kids. @SerMattzio Жыл бұрын
Why is this so painfully accurate? I don't think I've ever seen a circus poster except in an empty shop or on a run-down wooden fence with patchy creosote. I'm not sure if it's just where these posters always are or if it sticks out particularly because a happy circus advertisement jars so much with a run-down environment.
