I love Gymkata. I saw it when I was like 7 years old and it has been etched into my soul. Because the character's costumes were basically just plain sweatpants and sweatshirts, my cousin and I could go into our closet and get authentic Gymkata sportswear and play Gymkata in the woods behind my house. And "play Gymkata" is not a euphemism for butt sex. We had a playset fort set up like the town of the crazies and everything.

My favorite part is how the moment in Driven that turned Nick off from it is literally the most realistic part of the movie. Juan Manuel Fangio used to do the same trick with a dime, but he’d let the guy he was betting call which tire he’d have to pick it up with. Of course, this has never been confirmed, but Fangio was racing at a time where video cameras needed generators to run properly.
