This is the kind of game that really tests your ability to enjoy media critically. I was talking to my partner about this game and was about to say "the pedophile" as a vague term before I realized the answer it would inevitably give would be "which one?" It's so edgy that it loops back around into being almost entertaining.

Yeah a lot of the dialogue in between events feels like when a kid learns about dirty jokes and uses them at every opportunity but then i remember that's just what high school is like. There's stuff that annoys me about the game but that's mostly on a meta level, on a narrative level this takes me back to high school and not in the good way lol. It's an exaggeration, but not in the "none of these things would happen" way, 1 high school probably wouldn't have everything here happening in such a short time span but it would certainly have at least 1 or 2. White supremacists, drugs, and pedo teachers are kinda everywhere so those are already tallied up, but school shootings are more sparse

Yeahhhh the wood shop teacher at my middle school had multiple girls report (with an entire class of witnesses) that he was incredibly creepy and even offered to check for a girl's dropped pencil down her shirt. This was 6th grade, and we were 14 at the oldest. He's still there as far as I know because no one believed us and he was the only available person to teach the class. fun times!

Yeah we had the exact same type of teacher, 6th-9th grade, "dropped" pencils down girls tank tops and "helped" them get them out, amongst other things. Think he was reported, but nothing came of it, even with video evidence. He's still working at the school, and still holds his own obligatory classes for 6-7th graders in which he has complete freedom with choosing the contents of the class, and with which he usually spent rhe majority of them bragging about himself to literal children. Glad to have left that place a while ago, but makes me so uncomfortable that the school lets him not only still work there, but still insists on giving him extra opportunities to prey on the students.

I’ve seen this game mentioned a good number of times, and I am _so_ glad I found out why the name was making its rounds online before I made a fool out myself by brining it up thinking it was something else. I’m glad Kwite did decide to upload this but I’m also glad he stopped when he did, because I’m with him on the fact that this game burns a very specific kind of fuel that not many people have deep reserves of.

That is the BEST way ive seen to describe this. Whenever i watch clips or playthroughs of this game i have to take a break for a few days and watch more lighthearted stuff because it genuinely weighs you down in a way not much does - whenever they approach serious topics they do genuinely handle them with the seriousness they deserve while still keeping the overall tone of the game (hella impressive by the way. The writing is so good.) and it’s really depressing. Having to see every ending where nicole over and over again always ends up worse off, with literally ONE ending where her life improves. And you get really invested into seeing her try to escape how awful her life is and seeing her fall back down every time sucks.
