Thank you for the comment. Yeah, this channel is all about automotive diversity, and enjoying the stories and what machines mean to people. Barnfinds are Jonny's favourite episodes to film, because it is chance for him to go full 'Attenborough/Theroux spec' with detail and automotive emotional attachment. I used to know of a large manor house that the owner, a very eccentric artist, had three Armstrong Siddlys in the garage and who gave up driving when he couldn't get some rare part for the last working one in the 80's. He was then driven about in a 60's air-cooled VW Pickup by his wife. The cars stayed in the garage until he died (about 6 years ago!) The family sold the house not long after. No idea what happened to the cars....

I worked for Roy Jackson Moore from 1980 to 1986 and he regularly used this Espada to travel from his home in Beaconsfield to Aylesbury. He had a business producing audio cassettes back then and it was a regular driver. He leased a warehouse next door to the business and a door was knocked through. Inside the empty warehouse a guy (Phil) worked on restoring his collection of Austin 10's (he loaned me and my wife two of his immaculately restored cars for our wedding). The Espada went away for a while getting overhauled and I remember starting and driving it while working the nightshift with nobody around, keys were left in it - I was too young to think about the consequences driving up and down the road at 3am ! Roy also owned a dark blue Lamborghini Jalpa but the keys were never left in that one! He also had a Fiat X19 and loved his little two seater Lancia Montecarlo

This was borderline perfection. I love the way true money has no airs or graces. When I was in the music biz in the back end of the '80's- early 90's there were some insane cars parked around my place in Beak Street Soho, our manager owned an F40, AN EFF FORTY!!!!!!. He regularly forgot where he'd parked it and would pay someone to walk around his usual haunts to find it, usually with an array of fines. Getting back to 'money' I met some wonderful people back then and I always found that the really properly beyond rich ones had nothing to prove, often drove an old mini or Land Rover but lived in a house just like this with a Camargue in the barn. They ALWAYS had a place in Scotland

Whilst traveling in Umbria Italy, I came across the Lamborgini Vineyard, on entering we were met by an old man in dungarees. He was very chatty and in Italian enquired about us and what we were doing and other things. He then called someone on his mobile phone to meet us at the end of the drive. We proceeded and was met by a very smartly dress man, who told us in English that the motor museum was closed, but Mr Lamborgini had told him to open up and show us around. As per your video, Federico was an person of kindness and gentleness to us. Thank you. Graham

The back story of this car is quite frankly amazing... the history, the feedback from previous owners is astonishing, and the celebrity and stateliness it was preserved, all the years since being driven on the road . But more than anything, this barn find has brought to the masses, what a 70's Lamborghini is all about. The smiles, adulation and raw passion from all you guys that turned the key and started this classic, to running this classic around that courtyard should bring raw emotion to all petrol heads and kids alike. In 1971, when I was 12, my Dad took me to the International Trophy F1 race at Silverstone, in the days when there were non-championship races in the UK before the main European season started. Things were much more relaxed then, and anyone could wander round the paddock on the practice days, as cars were being prepared etc. I have a clear memory of standing watching the Lotus area, and seeing Emerson Fittipaldi (a Lotus driver that year) arrive in this wonderful outlandish Lamborghini, which I am fairly sure was an Espada. It seemed impossibly glamorous to a car mad younger me.
