I have not had the same issues as you but, as you show everything so well, I have been able to figure out what I needed to do! I currently have a BRG Mini as well! The one before this was one 10s and I went through this process too!

I love the video. I think i know why the 10" drive alot better. Personally i think its because its what the classic mini was orginally designed for as until 1984 mini's came with 10 wheels. But hey thats my own pick

Hi! Great video! I have an MPI -98 and looking to do the same procedure in winter. Do you need to adjust the height with Hi-los or switch something else (like adj. dampers) from original for this to work or look good?

Picking up my first mini in 2 days. My mini is a 1990 Mayfair with 12 inch thin wheels. is it possible to change to 10 inch, is the tyre diameter the same?

I do like the look of 6 x 10 but you need to check of clearance issues if you go down this route, chances are you will need to make modifications to get them to fit. The 5 x 10s will fit without mods

I’m not clear about why you have to touch the suspension knuckle. Is that because it needs to be lowered? Can’t see what difference it makes unless it relates to tyre clearance.

Great video, BUT,…what about the back wheels?? Is it a different process with drums in the back??

The back wheels are drum brakes that fit inside the 10 " wheels so it is just a case of swapping over wheels

Bolts for the disk and a split pin don't cost much in the grand scheme of things. Another thing Mini Spares need a head wobble with are ball joint kits. It's a kit that does not include grease nipples and nowhere near enough shims. Come on Mini spares............really!!! Whats the extra costs for nipples and shims? a few quid? P.s. for anyone needing to undo the hubnut/disk bolts without a impact gun, please refit the wheel nuts to protect the wheel nut studs like DB says. Good imformative video btw
