Surprised how well spoken Tekking is in the old video. Sure it’s a bit slower and the current energy is missing but you can totally see why people stuck around to listen. So many channels you go back to the early stuff and it’s night and day.

I will never forget when in 2015 I just finished marching and playing at a football game and looking at Crunchyroll and seeing Dragon Ball Super being added. I spent my thanksgiving break watching straight through everything that was available. Great memories

The issue with Super is the story isn't good. They constantly throw in new transformations to make up for it. Z had great story & build up.

Super is so strange in how they handled each storyline. Ones I'd say I liked were gods Frieza universal tournament super heroes moro Worst one probably zamasu as they completely destoryed everything trunks tried to do and his life is endless suffering no matter what. Lost his family friends even mother and universe.

I had a very similar intro to anime. Same shows. Still think Yu Yu Hakusho would have been a perfect series if it just ended at the dark tournament and actually killled Genkai. Fell off anime for a while until i saw Bleach and got back into it. Fell off again for years until I managed at Panera a bunch of pokemon go players who watched anime and been rehooked in again.😂 Loved coming back and having you to listen too whenever.

Yeah, Super just ripped off of fandom, DB Multiverse, Evil Goku, then rehash of Future Trunks and Freeza... That SHIT got boring fast. The whole deal with UI pulled me back in for a little while - when Roshi used it I was like _"Oh man! FINALLY! A NEW technique that EVERYBODY can use, not just a Saiyan from! Like Kaio-Ken! You just gotta have the enormous experience or/and battle prowess! Yeah, I dig it!"_ And immediately got my hopes cut short, cause all it did was CHANGE YOUR GODDAMN HAIR COLOR. I mean, HUH?! WTF?! People were mad when Roshi used it against Jiren, I say why? He could only use it for a brief moment and it's not like he K.O.'d Jiren. The series had more pressing problems, lol, and yet people focused on the one thing THAT ACTUALLY MADE FKIN SENSE! 🤣 Retconning "mortals" Potara fusion, Goten and Trunks not growing, Gohan *LITERALLY* losing his gains- How was that even possible after unlocking his true potential in the Buu Saga?! Another retcon! He shouldn't even have to go Super Saiyan anymore! Wasn't this the point?! The time that passed in Super is supposedly longer than the time of the timeskip at the end of Z. *NONE OF SUPER MAKES SENSE.* Z series still the GOAT, tho. And original. Super however is trash. But that's just my opinon.

The only God Goku was stronger than the moment he appeared is Supreme Kai bro. Kami finger flicked Goku when he attacked him. King Yemma no diffed Raditz off panel, so he was obviously stronger than Goku, and Goku couldn't even stand properly on King Kai's planet.

In a similar fashion,I hated Yu-Gi-Oh as a kid. I loved DBZ when i was a kid, probably about 6 or 7 yrs old and my bed time was at 9pm and on Cartoon Network they would air 2 episodes of DBZ between 8-9pm. Then Yu-Gi-Oh started and they would air 1 episode of DBZ and 1 of Yu-Gi-Oh. They robbed me of my second episode of DBZ so i hated Yu-Gi-Oh for that reason lol had nothing to do with the show or game, just that I didnt get my 2 episodes of DBZ anymore

I just finished a read through of Dragonball. Went to the Super manga but they jumped from "Goku has just unlocked Super Saiyan God" to next chapter it's Goku and Vegeta training on beerus's planet and both have super Saiyan blue, which I finally learned was essentially "god ki super Saiyan." I gotta bite the bullet and just find a way to watch the anime for free.

Sorry Tired Tekking but Old English Dub Dragonball Emperor Pilaf Arc I watched all the way back in 1994 where Yamcha found Bulma's " Dragonballs " where they had to censor his eyeballs since they figured Dragonball is tailored to American Kids. 😂 Caught old Dragonball on KFive back in Hawaii in 1994 so yes Dragonball was my first Anime along with Popeye 💪
