for me having the chat system and the Teaching platform together makes it much easier for managing classes, sceduling and communicating with parents, plus a standalone app for Iphone/Android/Ipad/Tablet instead of running things via an ugly browser so Classin for me

Hi Tim. I actually had to stop using ClassIn because of all the tech issues. Internal Browser was showing up courseware as pixilated and unreadable at the students end. Many times I would be teaching students and they would just suddenly disappear and drop out from the classroom without me doing anything and I would have to create a new class for them to re-enter mid lesson. I didn’t click the off-stage button..Really surprised people aren’t having problems but I’m happy for you and others where it’s running smooth. In the end what was happening to me was beyond ridiculous. I just couldn’t run my teaching business using ClassIn with the ever increasing technical issues I had lost faith in ClassIn and finally last week I took my last ClassIn student off the platform after she kept disappearing from the class three lessons in a row. No help was given by ClassIn either they just want you to pay 💰 for subscriptions.

So sorry to hear this. While I haven't experienced this, I don't doubt it happened. Sorry that you had a bad experience. What are you using now?

Thanks again, I have just started Classin with a new Chinese IELTS teaching position but I think Koala Go could be great for selling my own IELTS course which I already have. The next step for me its trying to infiltrate the Chinese market, where to advertise and its hard as I am not allowed to sign up to Wechat it seems.

I’m still trying to decide. I used Classin one class and I was stressed out but that was one class. We had to switch to Classin when the regular teaching platform went down. I was thrown onto a platform I had no idea how to work it. I do like your idea of trying both free trials. I wanted to focus using the Young Learners Interactive stories as my main curriculum so I was thinking that was interactive enough. Would there be time for the Koala Go playground. These minor details are holding me up a bit. Thanks for the video.

Hey! In my opinion you dont even need to use the playground if you don't want to. Its there if you want, and the classroom itself is great too.

Canva is a designing tool for designing just about anything. Classin or Koala Go are for you to use if you are teaching students independently. Canva can be used to make your marketing images for social media, for example.

I use pre-made slides, yes, from an online ESL curriculum.

Classin is just a platform to teach on, like Zoom. You would need to bring your own students there to teach. They don't have a setup where students book teachers, just an online classroom.

Classin is like Zoom for teachers. You just bring your students to Classin, schedule their classes and teach. You charge them outside of Classin. Classin doesnt do payments.
