The Clawfoot Stitch is a beautiful stitch. I'm going to try it now. I wonder how a scarf in your colors would look? I'll bet fantastic!! Thank you for a gorgeous new stitch! (I grew up using a clawfoot 🛁 bathtub! When I was really small, it was so much fun to slide down the back of it into the bathwater! A no-no but we did it anyway. 🙂😉🤫)

I started a blanket very similar to this after seeing your initial clawfoot tutorial! I used some slightly thicker worsted weight yarn in a variety of lovely fall colors, and it’s shaping up to be a very nice “pretending its fall even though it’s still 68F (20C)” blanket! Nice and airy so it doesn’t get too hot but has a very nice weight to it. Only difference is I decided I liked the look of changing color at the end of repeat row 1 (so my sc row back was the new color) 10/10 would recommend!
