It’s actually been around 2 months since the last time I uploaded specifically on a Saturday 😮 I’ve sort of been avoiding the day to upload as it’s just really given me a lot more freedom to upload whatever day I’d like and I feel like since the last time I talked to you all I feel a lot less anxiety when uploading, still not fully 100% better but definitely improving! And I want to say thank you for allowing me to have that freedom, I know many like a reoccurring schedule (so do I) but it has taken so much pressure off of me! ❤️

Hi victoria! I'm Maisy and I'm from the UK! I have a hamster called snoopy who lives in a 75 gallon aquarium! He is a robot dwarf and I've taken so many of your suggestions and recommendations just to make this little happy have a paradise! He actually has a big story behind him! As a 3 week old he was rescued by me from being frozen alive😭 he was soooo tiny, scared and confused! I mean he was smaller than my thumb and at the time I was 11! I use a laundry bag and it helps keep the hair contained and the rainbow vacuum is absolutely amazing but pricey. Ours ways $2,800 we’ve had it for 9 years though and still works great!❤️

Just rescued a bunny yesterday who was in a terrible situation small wire bottom cage with no hay and no veggies just pellets with the yogurt drop treats. I have him in a 6 foot play pen with unlimited hay and veggies and small portion of the pellets now. He's 2.5 years old and very shy as he wasn't socialized much. But he's sweet I named him popcorn ❤

Victoria I hope you know how many people and animals you have helped! You have given us all so much knowledge about, hamsters, shrimp, rabbits, cats and plants and their care! I have wanted to get a hamster for so long and I had one but I was I think 8 or so and had 0 knowledge about hamsters. We kept in one of those critter trail cages with the wheel on top and wired walls. I’m honestly so mad at myself for doing to a hamster but I have grown so much in not only knowledge but love for animals! I actually got a cat about 2-3 years ago and while he was taken care of well I have been watching your videos more than ever and I have been slowly updating and adjusting his diet! I am unable to give him a raw diet but I can give him wet food and I have been adding chia seeds like you do! Truly thank you for help!!

So I wanted to say thank you because I am a new bunny owner because of you quite literally I started watching your videos because I love the way that you treat your hamsters and I also have hamsters plural, and I thought it would be fun to put a bunny in my hamster room just as you have done. So fun fact I used to rescue everything when I was a little girl and bring every little thing home even if it was a wild animal. I grew up on a horse farm and had horses as a small child and as a young adult. So yeah I currently do work at the Toronto humane society and have for a very long time not rescued anything from my work because then it just starts to spiral. But recently there has been an influx of bunny adoptions and the others were going out to Foster and there was only going to be one bunny left. She didn't get adopted because she was dumped, and it was quite obvious that her previous owner kept her in a small cage because she has urine scald on her back feet as well as on her bum. Unfortunately some people don't know how to care correctly for their animals. So yes I ended up adopting the last bunny that was at the humane society at that time (a week ago)so ya, I adopted her because I knew that she would be white again,

I clean my bunny area almost every alternate days. I bought a mini vacuum cleaner and work wonders for me. It could suck up, fur, hairs, bunny poop, left over bunny snack debris and hays too. I love the scrape thing! I should get one of them ❤

Hi Paige!! Rabbits are social animals so I definitely would always recommend having them in pairs or more, of course it’s important you do research on introducing two rabbits together as it can be a tedious process and can take some time to find the perfect bunny friend for them ☺️

Hi! i had 3 hamsters in my experience. i’ve followed your guides (you are the best and you’re so helpful) but i’ve noticed that all 3 of my hamsters died around winter time in december. i’ve realized they were hibernating and im thinking of getting a new hamster. any tips of waking up a hamster from hibernation? any signs before hibernation?

Hi Victoria, so I just want some like advice cause I bought this flower mix and u fed it to my hamsters and my hamster (who was 1 and healthy) I fed him it and then not even like 2 weeks later he suddenly died? Also before hand I got him check out at the vets and he was COMPLETELY healthy! I’m a bit confused and my other 2 hamsters ( one is 1 and the other is around 5 months old) had the flower mix and they both couldn’t really open their eyes about 1-2 weeks later when I fed them, I got them check out at the vets and they had I think some sort of eye infection which wasn’t too serious and would wear off eventually. So I’m a bit confused if it’s the flower mix! also I’m no longer feeding it to them anymore as I’m worried if it’s that!

What kind of flower mix was it? It’s hard to say what the cause is as only a necropsy could determine that. Even with a vet check they can only see the physical things, a hamster could have a thousand of problems going on internally that you wouldn’t be able to see.

Yes! They produce two types, one is waste and the other (cecotropes) are nutrient packed and important for them to eat. They usually eat them before you ever see them but on occasion they might miss them!
