Cleaver Restoration

I initially picked up this cleaver at a garage sale for $8. The plan was to split it in half and create two knives, but as soon as I saw in person, I suspected that would never happen.It's been in my shop for over a year and I finally made up my mind that I would just re-profile the blade, and refinish the handle. I've restored in such a way that I haven't erased previous markings, so it has evidence of what it's gone through already.

Very nice! I have a couple heavy cleavers that are sitting in the shop waiting for some attention. This makes me want to get after them 👍

@Reclaimatt I've also got one in rough shape with a forged handle. No idea what I'll do with it. But it was in a bundle of another cleaver I wanted lol
