My all time favorite tv scene, Ed and Ruth Ann dancing on her grave, cello music, eagle screaming as the camera pulls back to show nature in all her Beautiful Splendor!!! "D-do-do you like it?" No Ed, I love it!!!

I’ve been binging this show from my youth…up to season 4 and bought seasons 5 & 6. It has everything…beautiful PNW scenery, fantastical episodes, great ensemble cast, and a relationship I shipped so hard. Such a classic show!

CHOL. I'M mildly reminded by this interview of how special & unique each character was on the Northern Exposure Series'. Each week it was like One was taken too a Utopian place of Sanctuary from the Turmoil, wreck less, & Sadly cruel World of Reality. Too a Small Town level of balance & tranquility where everyone cared about One another & the Entire World as well. IT was Good Down Home, just magical quality TV Family, week Night entertainment that made You Feel, ugh Good & more Confident about Yourself after having Seen it? Now is the Time when We could use some more Programming Like it, or some of the Other Older ones that were Out then. THANKS for Sharing.

His father was Billy Drago who portrayed Nitti in the untouchables. He looks exactly like his father

It’s odd that he didn’t mention his father amid all the discussion of how he got into acting. Makes me wonder if they were estranged.

@@eddo2001 Darren was born into near-poverty in Winfield just a few miles south of my hometown, Wichita KS. As I know the story, his Father Billy Drago left for Hollywood to build a career, leaving young Darren to be passed around among a variety of relatives. His Mother is never mentioned. As a teen he lived briefly here in Wichita in a low-income neighborhood called Planeview before he was again shuffled off to Marion, Kansas, 65 miles NE of Wichita. It was from there that he escaped to pursue a new life of success. Today he lives in the Branson, Missouri, area with his celebrity-chef wife and their four children.

One of my all time favorite shows. Ironic how so many years later I started watching a show about a big city(London) Doctor who moves to a small port town in England. The show called Doc Martin drew me in with a similar premise of a fish out of water big city dweller in a small town type of story line.

In Darren’s autobiography/memoir he explains that Ed is a guy who he wished he could be more like. Darren is a seriously devoted man to his religious beliefs and his wife. He is a jewelry maker who welds beautiful pieces and sells them.
It is still perfect and timely. Minus the cell phones. Which is even better!

Contrary to what most people think, LA does have a modern subway that runs a main line from the San Fernando Valley through Hollywood to Downtown, linked to an efficient surface transit system that includes light rail and busses.

I felt like you told me to f. Off, so that made me un-secribe. Which sucks because you have a great collection. Please don’t be a dick when adverting your platform. What are you trying to achieve? I went from I want to watch your site regularly to feeling F.off. So now solely because of your add, I’m no longer subscribed☹️🥺
