Many people wondered why the Emperor would need guards if he was so powerful. It wasn't just meant to keep his identity as a Sith a secret, but he also used his frail and old appearance to his advantage when he made his speech, declaring the birth of the Galactic Empire. It also makes the public think that someone would be insane to attack a weak and defenseless old man.

@@emilsinclair4190 Yes, I'll state why I still believe they were used improperly in Rebels below. Frankly, the depiction in Rebels pretty much proves my point in Disney not portraying the guard in a way that actually shows their competence and ability. Sure they suspended Ezra in the air with their force pikes, as that weapon is made to do, however after that they just sat there and let the Stormtroopers do everything else, I guess forgetting that they as well had weapons.

This was a long time ago so I’m probably wrong, but somewhere I remember reading that 1 royal guard was worth 100 storm troopers, and 1 sovereign protector was worth 5 or 10 (I don’t remember which number) royal guards.

If I remember right they also have their own custom tie interceptors that are even faster have shields a hyperdrive and even a small missile or torpedo pod and were even painted the same color as their armor and usually escorted the emperors shuttle

I hate SWOTOR because it has some genuinely great ideas and content but it also butchers the KOTOR elements and adds obvious rip-offs of PT and OT designs. You wanna know how to do what they were trying to do effectively? Look at the designs in Episode III. Look at the ARC-170 as a precursor to the X-wing, the Eta-2 as a precursor to the TIE Fighter, the Venator as a precursor to the ISD, Phase II armour as a precursor to Stormtrooper Armour. Then look at the Republic Trooper and die more deaths than Vitiate inside.

So the red guard was not trained like a royal guard they were just specialized Senate guards that palpitine made really loyal to him, but that was it. They were not trained specially they were just Senate guards that he found to be the most loyal and skilled, however, they were far from as skilled as the Royal guard Just to clear things up. sorry I’m a huge royal guard fan so if I hear misinformation or something that isn’t correct I will correct you

To be fair, PC isn't superior, rather, it's everywhere. Industries, homes and even consoles - yes - consoles!, only that what we call "pc" is better defined as "end-user repairs and upgrade rights and freedom", or EURAURF. (To fit with the video's theme of Star Wars and Empire stuff. Edit, another thing, Crucial is a good choice for say SSDs since their devices is on-par with say Samsung and others, their RAM sticks is kind of below Samsung but is cheaper, which is usually good enough for most consumers looking to upgrade their computers RAM-memory and so on.
