So happy you love this band. Pete is such an underrated vocalist and musician overall. The talent to come up with the riffs, the lyrics, play multiple instruments (he played the piano part at the end of “Self Destructor”), and have that voice that can do falsetto, howls, growls, and screams. Pete is everything ❤️

You need to listen to early Tool for the shorter, rocking out Tool. "Crawl Away", "Bottom", and "Jerk Off" are great examples of kickass rocking Tool. "Descending" is my current favorite Tool song, but it's a "lay on your back and watch the lava light shadows on the wall" kind of Tool track. Either way...*waves*

Chevelle is very underrated. They have so many awesome songs. Point #1, Wonder What's Next, This Type of Thinking (Could Do Us In), Vena Sera, Sci-Fi Crimes albums are pure Gold. As it is. Btw, Lauren, did you heard about the band called Yellowcard?

Great song by Chevelle, and I get it, easy reacton for this and even though I just got into BB, I agree, anytime is a good time for BB or Chevelle :) You heard remember when from the new album btw. You should check out Endlessly also from the new album. Before Niratias came out, Chevelle realeased an acoustic version on youtube to promote the then upcoming new album. Both the acoustic and album versions are very good but you should check out both as they're both very different. Also fun fact, I saw an interview with BB where he cites Chevelle as one of his early influences. So that could be part of why you gravitate to Chevelle so strongly.

@@MusicCatsandCoffee I just went back and listened to Endlessly acoustic again and then I remembered that at around that same time (Dec of 2020) they also released another youtube video of the acoustic version of Revenge. Revenge is another Chevelle favorite of mine off of Hats off to the bull. Revenge is definitely another song of theirs you should react to or at least check out. And two other earlier Chevelle songs I love and would reccommend you move up on your list, Get some and Still running.

lol If that's a mental breakdown, then I have breakdowns all the time. I see it more as just fangirling a little bit. I think it's normal to be like "omg this song is so good" while you're listening to it, especially if it's a good song, and it gives you goosebumps. I do it all the time. My next recommendation to add to your long list is Until You're Reformed, a bonus track on the deluxe edition of WWN

No... It DOES matter. I can clearly see and understand what you're trying to do, and these viewers of yours are letting you down. You want the Real Deal. You want the Chevelle goodness that's going to take "Closure" down from the top spot... Unfortunately, opinions are subjective, and therefore, whatever song people recommend from their subjective perception may not be something that you would recommend from your own subjective perception. Here's an example, and I think it's a good one: "Closure" sucks... I'm sorry, sweet-cheeks, but it does, in my mind. It's not a very good song, and it wouldn't even make the list of Top-5 Chevelle Songs, when I'm the one making the list... Hell, it would be lucky to make the Top 10. Ah, but there's the rub: This is your channel, so I'm not the one making the list. Here's an idea: Stop listening to us. Take charge, and decide for yourself. The day I need someone else to tell me what my favorite song is, that's the day that I deserve to die.
