Kevin, 28, and Lauren Paffrath, 30, live in Ventura, California, and earn $6 million a year from Kevin's KZbin channel @MeetKevin, his affiliate programs and their real estate business. They have two children, Jack and Max.
This is the latest installment of Millennial Money, which profiles people across the U.S. and details how they earn and spend their money.
Read more about about their budget breakdown here: cnb.cx/2UJfbAA
In 2017, Kevin Paffrath's dream was to earn over $1 million a year from The Paffrath Organization, the real estate business he owns with his wife, Lauren, in Ventura, California.
In 2020, the couple earned $1.075 million in May alone. "It was absolutely surreal," says Lauren, 30, of the moment they crossed into the seven-figure-a-month territory.
But the bulk of their income isn't coming from real estate transactions or rental income. The couple makes money through Kevin's KZbin channel, Meet Kevin, which he started posting to regularly in 2018, as well as numerous affiliate programs. While they don't bring in seven figures every month - they earned $721,474 in September 2020 - they're on track to earn more than $6 million total this year.
While some of their success can be attributed to good luck, they've also put in countless hours to get where they are today. As his KZbin channel became increasingly lucrative, Kevin, 28, began dedicating more and more time to creating content, including getting up before the sun to make several videos a day.
Lauren is the property manager for the couple's real estate business and has also taken on full-time child-care duties for their two young sons, Jack, 5, and Max, 2. Neither of their children is attending school in-person right now due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The hardest part of their success has been balancing work and family. "I just had our second son right when Kevin started making KZbin videos and getting monetized, so it was definitely an adjustment," Lauren says. "Kevin's nature is very much 'take on as much as you possibly can take on and work, work, work, work.'"
Kevin typically works 12 hours a day, from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. but reserves his evenings for family time. "The goal is to have a drop-dead deadline of 5 p.m. to just hang out with the kids," he says.

@@AMGF815 what is he lying about? Because he has a mortgage on his humble residence? why pay off the mortgage when he could invest it? Do you know how many shares of TSLA he has? @AMGF815
@AMGF815 3 жыл бұрын
@@daviddang82 I'm a former investor myself. Started when I was 18. Late 20s now. I'm now a startup founder because real estate is extremely boring and limited when compared to creating a business. There is only so much value you can add to real estate. You don't seem to comprehend the elements described. Any serious investor is going to form a company to do his/her investing through. That company - a corporation or LLC - will hold the titles of your properties. In other words, the properties they buy are in the name of the company, not their own name the way most people buy their personal residence. Do you know what an LLC is? Limited Liability Company. When you own rental property, a lot of it - it's just a matter of time until someone sues you. Then there are also lots of tax benefits to be had. Again, I'm not buying the $6 million in yearly income. The facts don't add up. Period! But hey, you're welcome to believe whatever you desire. You can even believe Donald Trump is a billionaire yet he is asking his followers to donate to help him pay for his lawyers. Makes a lot of sense to you?! Facts matter and they are clues to finding out what other people don't want you to know. Do you have any idea what a title search is? Every real estate transaction gets recorded much like when you buy a car and register it with the DMV. The database is available online. This guy is a "guru." Like Tao Lopez and many others, he figured out that he could earn more money selling info products rather than only doing what he "teaches" others to do.

@@AMGF815 Yeah I am pretty good with numbers and while I don't doubt he makes a lot of money, I am not so sure about the $6 million either. Regardless he's in the business of selling "The Dream" to people, 99% who will end up broke spending all their money trying to follow the directions of these guys. They are so many of them and they all sell the same thing, rinse and repeat. People like belonging to cults, especially in this country, the current administration is proof of that. LOL

He needs to be a late forties early fifties trophy wife husband. Likely he still will be... she’s gonna build with him until she’s run into the ground and then they’ll split when she’s fed up or he has his midlife crisis. At home, we all have our privacy and in many times go to an extent with it. I dated quite a few girls here and what can i say, they are very, very open minded about Fantasies, sexual Prefrences and trying new things in Bed. But outside of our Homes, we behave sometimes a bit too professional. It all depends on where you are in the social ladder. Non-Employed People are different than Engineers. Im an Engineer :D
