Hi Linda. I’m so excited for the new channel. Yay! I’ve been working out with you for 10 years now and it’s the best thing I could’ve done for my body. I’ve always been an active/athletic person but your workouts are kind to my body, challenging, effective, fun and rewarding simultaneously. I have an abundance of gratitude for all the effort and work you put into these videos. I’m enjoying these walk/chat/fat burning workouts. It’s the perfect warmup! Especially the chat/walk vids - not usually my thing but you’re not rambling about nonsense so it’s enjoyable and often educational. With so much gratitude!

Amazing!! Thank you so much for your loyalty and ongoing support. I appreciate all my Barlates veterans so much! It really warms my heart to know I am helping people achiever the results they want from their fitness routines. And yes, being kind to your body was the number one theme of Barlates. It stemmed from me going through years of injury from conventional ways of exercising. I was forced to find a new way and the ever-evolving style of Barlates has been my healer!

Aw, that's sweet. I'm glad that the walks have been a welcome addition to my channel. I really enjoy filming them too. I have filmed a bunch without the chat element, but have a few topics to discuss with you guys, so I think a longer walk and talk is in order very soon!

Today I did the walk with a weighted vest for the first time. It didn't seem like much at first, but it quickly made a difference and got my heart rate up with the extra effort. I think your Linda Active idea is unique! Your workouts helped me so much when I had hip tendonitis; now I'm recovering from surgery for a fractured wrist. I'm always able to find workouts I can do on your channel. Since I've been having injury issues, I'd love a mobility series. Some of the best of your workouts I've done have exercises that I hate - hate because they focus on my weak areas, and so they're uncomfortable. I value your cueing; I always laugh to myself because whenever you say "Don't collapse your shoulders", usually I am! I first subscribed in 2011!!!

Yes, it is amazing how much the extra weight adds to the cardio factor. It's like walking up hill! Amazing, I am so happy to know you have been with me since the very beginning and you are still enjoying my workouts! The good news is that the right workouts can really work out imbalances in the body and all but heal nearly every injury.

I love this idea!!! I love all of your workouts, but I really enjoy having my workouts split to a particular body part. Say outer thighs, glutes or inner thighs. I love your old school pilates and barre with a twist! I know you have a lot of them, but I do them every single week and they are just crazy effective. I'm super excited about your new channel! I know we all feel like we have our own personal instructor with this channel, but now we really will feel that way!!

Hi Linda, This is a great idea. I love your workouts but love the idea of 20 minutes as it is hard to fit in the longer workouts. I would love cardio Cardio sculpt as i need to incorporate more Cardio. I also i love your barre, ankle weights and loop workouts.

I am loving these coffee cock walks! The volume of the music is perfect, and I love hearing you talk the whole time. Please keep it up! And I love the idea of the new channel! It is so exciting! Will you be able to accommodate different time zones in case you open it up to requests when some of us are sleeping?

Thanks so much! I am definitely going to do a combination of workouts with my usual chatter and some with less and some without. I am trying to accommodate more people, but definitely don't want to compromise my style. I am thinking of throwing it open once a month for say 24 hours and then picking names out of a hat to make it fair!

Just coming back into working out. Had to take lot of time off. As someone who has a hypermobile issue all of my life, I have a lot of joint pain! I have arthritis in a lot of my joints and I'm bone on bone in my knees. I do walk outside even when I cannot do a workout in home, but your walking workouts have been a HUGE help for me to get back into moving in home as well as outside. Thank you for that. I can't wait for the new channel as I hope we can get more arthritis friendly or friendlier content for people who have hypermobile issues since we can tell you what we need,like and want from you! I love this idea! Also love your top on this workout!

Amazing! Thanks for sharing your story. I am so happy that my workouts are helping you. I am actually just filming a chair walking series, which has arthritis sufferers in mind. The new LINDA ACTIVE channel is already up and running. You just missed the May workout submissions, but there will be more at the beginning of April. You can also leave suggestions here 😊

I just started following you and have been very happy with the workouts. I was looking for low impact for my knee and back and have been able to follow most of the workouts and finish them and have been doing two per day! I will continue to follow you for sure. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into making these workouts.

I’m still in a moon boot for a foot injury 😥so I did Mini’s Zero Steps Workout this time.😸I’ll subscribe to the new channel when it’s up. I like the idea of asking for new versions of my favorite workouts. I like your instruction style, and I’m also okay with less talking as long as I can follow without watching the screen during the exercises. I’m with you on the happy workouts! 😊 I do a variety of apartment-friendly low impact workouts, and I especially like barre/Pilates/fusion, functional training, mat, and some weights. Plus outdoor walking and daily yoga practice. ❤

@@barlatesbodyblitz At least 2-4 more weeks in the boot, depending on how it looks at follow-up. Then I'll need to add activity gradually. I'll be doing mostly mat workouts for quite a while, but I'll have a lot more workout options when the boot is off - and yes, it will feel great! 🥳 Lately I've been doing short total body workouts like New Year Supersets and Tighter Assets Level 1 plus my daily yoga practice. Thanks again for these great workouts that are helping me so much right now. 🙏

Hi. Ms Linda, Love the chatty walk talks that’s what I find unique. My spouse view different exercise channels. Never see personal workouts so perhaps you can monetize that feature and maybe if someone joins both channels would get price break, like pay $9.99 USD and maybe would be $15.99 for both, Barlates and Linda channel, just idea . Big fan of walks, trampoline, step, stability , Pilates and band workouts and minie. Forgot love your playlist and when u organize like creating a series, playlist, weekly and monthly schedule.

I will definitely subscribe to your Linda Active channel! Looking forward to the subscriber driven content-what a treat! You turned the hackers from a curse into a blessing. To answer your question, I looked in my KZbin history of Barlates and it says I first viewed your videos starting December 28, 2015. I feel like I started a year or 2 prior though! Was the channel ever under another name? LOL time flies 😊

Wow, that has been quite some time! No, the channel was never under another name. I did upload my first free workout on march 6th 2014, so maybe for some reason your history didn't go back that far? Either way, thank you so much for your ongoing support. You have always left such uplifting and positive comments. I really appreciate you ❤❤❤

The funny thing is, I recall the first workout I did with you was a standing small ball workout, and that's not what KZbin is showing, so I think you are right about it not going back far enough. I was struggling HARD but intrigued, as you made it look easy. I loved your calm pleasant demeanor, and your workout was like nothing I had done before! I remember thinking "I need to see what else this lady has to offer!" I've been hooked since. So glad you are doing well and wish you nothing but the best in your future endeavors! You deserve it❤!

Your resilience is inspirational.⭐ I love the name of your new channel. 🥰 I like mostly everything. Probably lean more to the chatty and verbal instructional styles. Hate super loud music maybe more gentle stretching videos for recovery days. I also love Step Aerobics, Small ball, straps stretching and pilate ball workouts. I like feet and hand exercises too, since I have some issues there. Always need anti hunch over training too 😅 for good posture.

I love your walk and talks. Today, especially, I needed to hear your message about doing workouts that serve your body, mind, and spirit. I've been weight training for awhile now and it's not doing me any good anymore but I always feel like I have to do it. I want strength but I am realizing through your workouts that I can attain that strength and muscle build by tailoring to what I really enjoy.and I really enjoy your workouts. They are safe and I love your cuing and your push mentality. I will definitely subscribe to your new channel and please keep your walk and talks. They are good when I just want to warm up or just get extra steps in or just move and I like what you have to say. Btw, I love love love your resistance band workouts!!!

Thank you so much! I totally agree, I have pushed myself to do heavier weights many times in my life, but I just don't enjoy them much. And to be honest, I much prefer my body shape when I am focusing on my style of workouts. I am so glad that they are working for you too! I will definitely be keeping up with my walk and talks. I enjoy rambling on way too much to stop. lol!
