The worst part is that Brits can't tell the difference between "life imprisonment" and "34 years." Yeah I know she "might not get out" but why not just make a decisions? But look at the kind of person that she chose to warm up to?!? She probably used the whole living with her elderly mother to play on her emotions (being that she was an elderly woman......that wasn't around or living with family). She probably also made it her business to find out all that she could about her, in order to present herself like some knight in shining armour (hence why she was pretending to heal her). I can't stand low lives that come with pretenses to people that they either know things about/believe they know things about them or believe that they know who they are by sizing them up. Unfortunately, that elderly woman had opened up herself to her and allowed a degenerate to get way too close. To the point that she believed that she could take whatever she desired from her. Alot of folk don't realize that guilt isn't some random "emotion" that happens when you know that you are wrong, being that you've aimed to harm someone. It's more or less a reminder that they're not the only one aware of what they've done. That woman's deadly experience needs to haunt her every morning that she rises. Every thing that she did to inflict pain and remove breath from that woman's Life, needs to stay on repeat.

I don't have paranoid schizophrenia, but I do have something called schizophrenic affective disorder. Long story short, the voices in my head and the occasional visual hallucination I have are something I know and understand to be not real. They're like imaginary friends I created out of loneliness as a kid who have never really left me. I'm super simplifying things here because there's more to it than that but that's not my point. Schizophrenic disorders are awful, and in general are horribly misunderstood by many people. Please, I beg of all of you, be kinder to each other out there. I mean, if convicted of murder over here in the UK then it's a mandatory life sentence. Like the courts literally cannot give *_any_* other sentence as a result. (Granted the minimum time to be served can be as little as 15 years before being considered for parole so "life imprisonment" doesn't necessarily mean life but considering places like Japan have a minimum sentence of as little as 5 years then it's "strict" by comparison...)

It's so interesting to me how Gemma felt so entitled to money that she was not at all owed from someone who trusted her dearly that she killed her and then treated her body so poorly. Like that's crazy to me, who are you to think you deserve that money? There was no reason Deborah had to give you that money, literally none, she was just making an offer as a friend which she rightfully changed her mind on. Gemma should've done what Deborah had suggested and sold the piece of junk house and downgraded to something a more quaint and less run down. The entitlement and denial this woman has scares me, honest.

My grandmother was paranoid schizophrenic, probably activated by postpartum psychosis, and she was the most generous person I have ever known, and a wonderful role model. She was always attentive to other peoples needs and feelings, and actually over-empathetic, to the point of delusion. The only thing she did not like, was when people made very large and sudden facial expressions, consistent with telling theatrical stories, I would say she got triggered by when people were lying or pretending, as she could not make out what was real. Then you could tell she had a frightened look, but she would never act with any kind of aggression

I'm just about to start watching this but wanted to quickly say how glad I am you're covering this horrific crime as I'd only heard mention of it for the first time the day the sentencing portion was televised in our first ever look into an actual sentencing in the UK. And the judge spoke so well. We don't get that in the US. Edit for a top-up ~ Just finished it. You covered it well but... and here comes a tiny critique ~ I wish you'd have put in about 3 more minutes of information to cover what & why she broke into her deceased neighbors house/bedroom. She rummaged through all his documents and grabbed his passport, banking statements, his old mobile that was not active then took it all back home where she practiced forging his signature AND another person's signature on the bogus WILL to declare she was given 95% of Deborah's valued estate and then the final 5% to her own mother. Then she called the mobile company claiming she was the deceased person & had them activated it. She then rented the car in that name. I'm sure I've skipped something but you definately could have covered all this extra stuff. It would have helped us see just how much more calculated she really was. You still did very good, of course, Adrian and I appreciate it! Hope you have a great weekend 💛

I love it when you get so disgusted that you speak your mind and let us know how you REALLY feel. It’s nice to see that kind of honesty and I agree with you 100%. As always, another great video. My only complaint is that they aren’t longer.

This is horrible and tragic. I offer my condolences. Her boarder is a good man for caring enough about her to call the police right away, good sense of forethought.

Poor Deborah, this story was heart breaking. RIP!!! ❤️ The miniscule piece of solace was in thinking about Jemma's imprisonment.

To be honest, this channel was a random click for me almost a year ago and since then I've been hooked... This lad is sincere, honest, empathetic and he's a fantastic storyteller!!! I have honestly become a huge fan ,I watch as many episodes as I can and I honestly do hope he has a positive outlet for dealing with so much negativity...if you ever need an ear my friend, your Coffee is on Me, Cheers!!!!

I had somehow missed this case since I was mourning the passing of my father at the time. He had passed away from Ealing not far from Wembley where we used to go for Indian clothes shopping. Thank you so much for this great video Adrian. May justice be served to Jemma and may Deborah rest in peace 🙏🏼❤️🇬🇧!

At least she didn't ruin the victim's reputation by making horrible stuff up about her to justify her murder. This felt completely avoidable.

The amount of ease with which you pronounce names and cities is phenomenal! It shows me that you’re extremely dedicated to what you do, and take the time to learn how to properly pronounce names/places! ❤

I agree, so called journalists on news channels regularly butcher proper names, too lazy to take 5 seconds and look it up!

Hi Adrian, love to see the kitty, he's so cute! Jemma was so cold-hearted deserves her punishment. I hope this haunts her for the rest of her days! Horrific what she did to Mee Kuen. When their friendship went sour, yes, it looks like greed took over.
